  1. I have spoke with Prevex several times, and one of their anylists has discovered binary that capture something, I am waiting on more information ....as soon as it arrives I will update here-Or wipe my PC.... whichever comes first.
  2. Well, my topic says it all, I have a Bimatal infection in EXPLORER.EXE AND DECIDED TO JUST REINSTALL WINDOWS AND REFORMAT. I have saved 19 crucial passwords and site loggins in KPM, and need to know what the process is to ENSURE that when i reformat and re-install windows that i can still have all my saved passwords. Please advise. Thank you.
  3. OK, will do. GSI never finished ... it just runs forever. I will send the file. Thanks again for your time mate.
  4. edit, i was denied the last edit on previous post, and posted another reply, only to see it actually went through. so i am editing this post to clear it, sorry,.
  5. Ok mate, will do. I have an email already composed and saved in drafts in the notion that Prevx will respond to my ticket, i used WINRAR to compress the file, and its already attached to that email draft. I am gona do the requested action now, and come back to edit this reply. GetSystemInfo.... what an amazing little tool, thanks again mate, for teaching me a new trick... you requested actions are on the way shortly, its running GetSysInfo now.
  6. Unfortunately, I do not own any Prevx software, to receive support from. I own Kaspersky, and kinda wonder why it doesn't see anything in the online scan. Could be a false positive, of course.. But as i stated in the topic, Kaspersky found that virus on my machine, I believe it more fitting for me to contact Kaspersky about their positives, since i DO own their software and have merit to ask for support. I did attempt to send Prevx a contact ticket, but i do not believe i will have any priority at all, again, as i do not own any of their software, and that is the second question asked when filling out a contact ticket. Does anyone know the correct file size for EXPLORER.EXE on a Win7x64 SP1? And if you do not "know" the correct size, would anyone running this exact OS be willing to look into their system and just tell me what your EXPLORER.EXE file size is? Maybe just to help me compare? Thanks you again for your help.
  7. Whats the correct size of explorer.exe in windows 7 x64 bit SP1 ?? I just had Kaspersky Pure tell me a PDM Keylogger was detected in this file, and i assume Pure took some sort of action against it. My EXPLORER.EXE file size is 2835 KB. Would that be correct? I also uploaded that file to Virus Total, and they had never had my EXPOLRER.EXE file uploaded before. Being that its such a common file, I am sure the correct size version has been uploaded before, but mine must have looked different, maybe its not the right size, and someone has tampered with it. Thanks for your answers in advance.
