  1. Hi, We have issues with our VPN connection. When we try to connect we receive the error "Site is not responding" We need to close the Kaspersky application in order to accept and trust the certificate. Every time we make a change in our Checkpoint Firewall (for example when adding a new rule) Kaspersky blocks the vpn connection. I have found that the issue is connected with the rule "Blocked url" which I have created in the Web Control function in the Kaspersky Policy. When I disable the rule, VPN works. .
  2. Hi, After upgrading Kaspersky security Center (in version 11.0.0.1131) many endpoints with different Windows OS versions (Windows 7,Windows 10), result in repeated reboots with BSOD issue.
  3. Can you please confirm the steps of deleting updates? Advanced → Repositories → Kaspersky Lab software updates and patches right button all tasks Clear updates repository But as I said, I did it earlier and it had not worked. When I came back the other day, everything was ok. I believe it was not this action that worked, but it is worth trying I deleted the updates, rebooted the server, downloaded again the updates and it worked! I did not have to recreate the tasks. Thank you.
  4. Hi, We receive the below errors while running update tasks on clients: Event type: Error verifying application databases and modules Result: Update files are corrupted Object: updates/bin/kes11_cm/kes11/kes11_2/aes256/en/description.txt Object\Path: updates/bin/kes11_cm/kes11/kes11_2/aes256/en/ Object\Name: description.txt Event type: Error updating component Result: Error updating component Object: KES11 Object\Path: KES11 Object\Name: KES11 Can you help me with that issue?
  5. Depends. Theoretically there are some problems. With write filter the places where anything can write is very limited and nothing persist after reboot. But there is a possibility to use Thin Client as a jump point to other systems. The built-in Defender does offer some protection. HP supports a very limited set of AV products on Thin Clients. The question is whether you need USB on those devices. If not, you can use HP USB Port Manager to disable front ports and also disable connecting any mass storage devices on any ports. It is not only about USB. The Thin Clients have email access via web client. So, threats may occur.
  6. By using the Write Filter are we protected from inserting usb sticks?
  7. Hi, can you suggest me which Kaspersky product is suitable for HP Thin clients? We currently use Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Windows but it uses almost 90% of the Client resources and the Client become unstable.
  8. Hello, I have uploaded the policy export. https://we.tl/t-JQ73xIAkK7
  9. Hello again, I have exported the .klp file but I don't know how to attach it.
  10. Hi, In my comany we use KES for about 350 devices controlled by Kaspersky Security Center v.10.5.1781. We have a task for a daily scan which decreases the performance of the devices because it uses the 99% of the hard disk. I have attached the task's settings. Can you help me by providing the best practices about scan scope?
