  1. Lock the setting in the policy in the "client" group. Settings are not enforced on the endpoints if they are unlocked.
  2. This machine has IE7 installed. I think this is a known Microsoft issue with the Windows Update Agent on XP and IE6/IE7. Deploying IE8 should make the problem go away. If IE7 is required, then there is no solution at the moment. http://marc.info/?l=patchmanagement&m=138696900324972 http://www.google.com/search?q=XP+%22windo...date%22+SVCHOST
  3. It seems to me that the Network Access Control (NAC) included in the System Management does not work at all. Or I am to stupid to configure it correctly. I would like to see a lab guide on how to set this up properly. The same goes for file and device based encryption. Full disk encryption works well, but not file encryption. We have a problem where the KES "First Start Wizard" (enter license key, scan applications) is started on every reboot. Otherwise, keep up the good work. I like the new features.
  4. Update Agents are inherited through the group hierarchy. Remove all update agents from Managed Computers ==> Properties. On each group add the unique update agent for that group/subnet only.
