  1. Hello, I installed KIS 2013 yesterday, and everything was working fine. I don't know if this is due to the installation of patches (patch h now), now, whenever, I restart windows 8, the main KIS window pops up and does not go, I have to close it myself. It is not an issue but it is annoying for I have used KIS for some years and it only showed a tray icon. I have looked for a setting to stop that but cannot find any. Could somebody suggest something, please? Thank you for your usual support.

  3. Thank you to all the dedicated volunteers on this site. I am very grateful for the good job you are doing. I have been using Kaspersky's products for some years and I must admit that they are great. I have recommended them to my friends and they too are fully satisfied. Thank you for your indefatigable support. Sometimes when I have a problem with KIS or another application I just go through the posts in the forums and I find the solution.   5. Hi, I bought Kaspersky One some weeks ago and now I am trying to install it on a computer (as KIS). Two have been installed on mobile devices. However, I cannot activate KIS - I get the message: key file is corrupted. How do I fix that? Many thanks for your valued help. Joseph.

  7. Hello, I have chosen to copy the definitions that KIS downloads. I am wondering how I can use them... Can I use them on a PC that I rarely connect to the internet? If yes, how do I do that? For I have a PC on which I have KIS installed with a valid license which I am not really updating as I use it rarely. However I would be glad to keep it up-to-date. (Connection is slow and dear here.) If I reinstall KIS can I use the copied updates on the clean-installed application? Many thanks for your valued help, All the best, Joseph.

  9. KIS 2012 has been downloading many MBs of definitions since two or three days ago. Is this normal?--patch h was installed three days ago.
  10. Hi, I am really sorry for your plight. I have asked for help several times about this KPM issue but to no avail. Because of this I am still using Firefox 3.6! I hope Kaspersky lab improves the upcoming PURE so that we never again get that patch problem. It is really disappointing. Hope this patch issue never come up in the next PURE version. I mean let the new PURE accept any patch smoothly. Be of good courage my friends, Joseph.

  14. Hi there, You are always great helpers and I really appreciate that. I am sorry to bother you but I have a problem and I am desperately looking for a solution to it. I bought Kaspersky Password Manager some months ago but deleted its activation code accidentally: I emptied my mail trash permanently as it was full of useless messages. Unfortunately I did not know that my KPM activation code too was there. At the Kaspersky e-store they are requesting the purchase number, which I do not have since I have permanently deleted the email where it was. They are also requesting the last five digits of my credit card. I have changed my card and no longer have any statements of the old one. The Technical Support is not that smart. I have sent them many requests but they are not providing the right answer - always asking me to specify whether the problem has been solved. They have even given me this link: http://www.kaspersky.com/customer_care_center which cannot be found. The only thing I can use to prove that I bought the software is my email address. I strongly believe that I can retrieve my activation code using this means. But whom should I contact? Many thanks for your patience and dedication.
  15. I tried it but it did not work. I mean you have to choose between PURE R2 or Password Manager: the two do not work together. I notified you and tried different solutions that you and Kaspersky Lab provided, to no avail. I have seen that other users have reported this issue.
  16. When will we get the new PURE version with a new Password Manager working with updated browsers like Firefox? We have been doing without our Password Manager for months. Please, do something.

  19. I acknowledge responses from Kaspersky's Lab, which took a reasonable delay. However, I had already resorted to System Restore. So I'm using the previous version of KPM. Probably I shall try what they told me though I had decided I would not: 1. Download the Kaspersky kavremover utility here - http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208279463 and please read the article on how to use it. 2. Boot your PC in safe mode – http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=193238595 3. Unpack and run the Kavremover utility twice. First run, let it uninstall whatever version it finds, the version is displayed on the lower of the two scrollbars. 4. Boot in safe mode again, run the removal utility, in the lower scrollbar select “All known products” and perform removal of that. 5. Reboot your PC in normal mode. 6. Install pure once again, once installed, turn it’s self-defense off - http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208282625 7. Unload both Pure and Password Manager from memory by right clicking their icons in system tray and pressing “Exit”. 8. Install patch. I had already used the kavremover - but not in safe mode.   21. I shouted victory too early, I think. PURE2 has stopped working again and I cannot restart it. I was updating it for the first time and I got the following notification (attachment).
