  1. Ok think I'm back to square I with KIS2012 working, won't upgrade in a hurry. uninstalled IE9 (revert to IE8). Gadgets working again. Clean up and restart Tried to install ie9 several times manually and through windows update, all failed. Tried to restore system to pre KIS2013 installation, failed, said it couldn't access a file (?). Said no system files changed. Restart Tried to re-install IE9 via Windows Update, SUCCESS. Gadgets still working. Re-installed Java, success. Everything seems operational. Looks as though KIS2013 installation locked a file which the restore, although unsuccessful, unlocked :bravo:
  2. Win7 fairly standard desktop. Tried yesterday to upgrade from KIS12 to KIS13 . Had to run install several times because it failed and undid. When it eventually worked the gadget display was corrupt and Java didn't work on IE9. Uninstalled KIS13 and re-installed KIS12 installed OK but didn't resolve problems. Tried re-installing Java on IE9, installs OK but Java check says it isn't there and it doesn't work. Still works on Firefox. Looking at doing a Win7 repair (which is an upgrade to Win7) Pretty disastrous. Wrote this on IE9 originally but "post" button wouldn't work, (no java). Sent from Firefox

  4. I have Windows and Kaspersky firewalls on my desktop for which I switch Kaspersky on. Now I have a Netgear router with a firewall. Thinking used to be only one firewall active, does this still apply? Should I turn Kaspersky firewall off?
  5. Like many others I was in touch with Support over the IE hang problem and took the product off to wait for the new version. I abandoned it when I found out the new version still wouldn't support 64bit browsers. Then I find I would have had to pay for it anyway. Good job some of the rival free products work fine. Doubt I'll come back now.
  6. Now you see it now you don't. Win7x64 certified but with with IEx32 only.
  7. Seems ok with IE9beta, I'm on it now. Hope there's 64bit browser support in the new version though. Now Adobe have sorted it out at last I could move to IEx64 if KPM would go too. At least the IE hang is supposed to be sorted then.
  8. Same problem Windows7 IE8. In my case if you open IE8 window too soon, 4mins after reboot, that window hangs every time. Leave it longer and everything is oK. have had to uninstall Password Manager until there's a fix.
  9. With no more suggestions I'll have to uninstall Password Manager. Once it's on it's great but it takes about 3 to 4 minutes after startup before you can use IE8, otherwise the first window hangs and you have to remove it with TaskManager. It's driving my wife crazy.
  10. Windows7x64 IE8x32 Installed PasswordManager went fine. Works Ok except: Startup computer, Windows starts, run IE8 while startup programs are running. IE8 window opens with no key button top right (PasswordManager not running yet) Button subsequently appears. Use button to open Web Account in new tab. works fine. close tab Close IE8 window (non responding) Only way to close window is to use Task Manager. Repeat exercise but wait after windows starts for PasswordManager database unlock window. Open IE8 Everything OK logfile http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...297361f112ccc51
  11. Think I'll have to start again because I can't make progress with your comments. I have a single access web page which doesn't require any personal info as could be supplied by different identities (unless I can add Practice Number and Access id to the data, which might then be ambiguous.) The web page requires three pieces of data, values A B or C (login) D or E (passwords) I can set up an account and manually fill the form for A, B and D but Password Manager identifies A as the login therefore precluding me from automatically filling the alternative set A,C and E You seem to suggest that a different Identity could supply the data differently, but I don't see how?
  12. Sorry I'm just not following this. Identities have lots of personal data but don't seem to have anythig to do with the information required by the web page, specifically the "Access ID" Can you explain further. Did you mean the web login page?
  13. You've missed the point I'm afraid, I filled in the form OK that's how I got one login. Now I want a second login to that site but PasswordManager only lets me change the first and third item for the second login (It thinks these are Login and password), but item two is login and it won't let me change that. How do I tell it item two is the login not item one?
