  1. Removing the hklm/software/360safe worked for me. Thanks for you help guys.
  2. Jan is right (on 27.06.2006 15:20 comment) I was unable to delete the "Automatic Install - <package name>" because just as Jan said, it was an automatic task created this way: right click the GROUP name where the task exists (not the group tasks), then choose PROPERTIES and under the CLIENT COMPUTERS tab uncheck the name of the kaspersky package being automatically installed (in my case I named it KAV6_WKS_ENU, a kaspersky package created earlier to deploy kav6 for workstations) and then click on the OK button and that's all! If you still see the task there just click the REFRESH button from the tool bar or just press F5. And yeah, it's a kind of magic - Queen :b_lol1: : ) lol P.S. I did this under adminkit 6.0.1710.
  3. Look here: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showt...p;#entry1144971 I found helpful info and I added some extra info. It solved my problem. I hope it helps you.
  4. In addition to what Tball mentioned, I also changed the logon passwords on the SQLExpress services holding the Kaspersky's databases. I did it thru: START-->ALL PROGRAMS-->Microsoft SQL Server 2005-->Configuration Tools-->SQL Server Configuration Manager On the console's left pane I clicked on SQL SERVER 2005 SERVICES and then on the right pane I right-clicked on SQL Server(SQLExpressKAV) and then from the context menu chose Properties and on the LOG ON Tab I changed the password. I did the same on the SQL Browser service (on the same right pane). After changing each password I clicked on the APPLY button and then on the START button and made sure they have the state/running mode of RUNNING and AUTOMATIC respectively. P.S. SQLExpressKAV is the name of my SQL Instance holding the kaspersky data, of course yours is whatever the name you gave to it when you installed the adminkit.
