A while ago we started using Kaspersky Labs products, they all rocks :cb_punk:
Now the problem... I have same issues a first poster in this topic almost 1 year ago.
On the PC with problems we are using KAV 22.214.171.1247... Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 service doesn't start automacicaly, also doesn't start manualy.
I wasted much of my precious time with .NET framework installations and with Microsoft Support...
I also tried installing KIS 2009 standalone version, same happens..
I am writting here becuase this isn't the first time this happened to me... 5 PC's out of 50 had this issues,... 4 was already reinstalled with Windows XP Professional 32 bit (as they were before).
I am also listing system info here.
Please tell me there is a solution.... Since I and colleagues are care keepers of 1000++ PC's... it's annoying to reinstall whole machine becuase of this.
The 4 PC's before this one was an old installation (2 years+), this one here is less than month old.
Please help me out.
