  1. I'm sorry, I'm not that versed in computer speak. what are you talking about when you say to install version 16.0.1.445? Just saw it's Kaspersky version. Sorry. Anyway how do I do that? Mind you, I'm not uninstalling Kaspersky, was suggested one other time and it screwed my computer all up. I have updated version - 44.0.2 in Firefox. Windows 8.1 Home x64 Build 9600 Kaspersky version 16.0.0.614 (d)

  4. I have gotten a notice from Firefox telling me "Kaspersky could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled". Here is a partial answer to someone asking the same question to Firefox...... "That pref will be gone in Firefox 44 (Release slated for Jan 26. 2016) so user's of currently un-signed extensions should contact the developers of those extensions and prod them into getting their act together & get their extensions signed by Mozilla. Otherwise the users of those extensions will be SOL come the release of Firefox 44. Mozilla has already pushed back the version in which this new security feature was to be enabled from Firefox 40 to 44. I doubt if there will be any further reprieve." I have been having a lot of problems with Kaspersky/Firefox lately, and this is just the beginning of the end for me on both of you. Could you Please try to fix yhis one at least? Thank You PattiT
  5. 1. I keep having this ongoing problem with Kaspersky & Firefox, and am frankly upset to the point of leaving Firefox as my browser permanently & questioning my security with Kaspersky. Mozilla Firefox will not verify my Kaspersky add-on & therefore I am not protected on Firefox. This is the message I get...... "If an unsigned add-on is disabled, you won't be able to use it and the Add-ons manager will show a message that the add-on could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled. You can remove the add-on from Firefox and then reinstall a signed version from the Mozilla Add-ons site if one is available. If a signed version is not available, contact the add-on developer or vendor to see if they can offer an updated and signed version of that add-on. You can also ask them to get their add-on signed. " So now what? Are you going to get it signed? What options do I have? 2. I also keep getting, on the right side of my screen, a box with your K logo at top saying you "Can not guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established. It lists different Application names, URL's, and Reason (which is usually-'Invalid name of certificate. Either the name is not on the allowed list or was explicitly excluded'). " What exactly is this & what does it mean? What is going here at Kaspersky? TY Am looking forward to your reply. PattiT
  6. I have tried again contacting Firefox, this time no answer as of yet-been awhile. I turned off SM on amazon, but am still leery about doing it to my bank & paypal. So when I need to get in, I just click on whatever one I need, go do something around house & by the time I get back to it, it's changed to what I clicked. That's how long it takes for each and every page I need to get to, or I just sit & watch TV while waiting. Totally Frustrated with them (Firefox mostly, since they tried putting it all on Kaspersky w/o looking into their end first).
  7. Sorry, I have Safe Money 4.0.10.15 don't know if this updates or not.
  8. Hi, I have the protected browser in safe money for my bank & paypal. Since almost the last time firefox updated my version I have had a problem with my safe money. When the protected browser comes on it takes so long for anything I click to come on. I also get a box telling me to 'stop script' or 'continue script', I have done both. Plus the screen turns gray & says at the top 'mozilla firefox not responding' I have contacted them but they said since it's within my kaspersky I have to contact you. It takes so long to go from one page to another (ex:acct. balances, changing from one acct page to another acct, transfers, etc.) that the warning box comes on telling me due to inactivity I will be logged off. Then I have to click 'ok' & hope it stays on before the 'ok' actually works. I also had my amazon acct on the protected browser, but it took so long as well that I removed it & now I have no problem with amazon. I really don't know what to do b/c I like the idea of the extra security safe money gives me. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank You PattiT
  9. TY richbuff, the number on the link you have here is 1-866-328-5700 for Woburn,Mass. & I found a written number in my notes 1-866-525-9094. would you know which one is good?
  10. sorry. no. she only has one email acct & she has already tried to change her password (she clicked 'forgot password' they sent her the link to create new password which she did) and is still told password is wrong.
  11. Hi richbuff, TY for replying. Her Kaspersky support page says.....(Kaspersky 2015) Microsoft Windows 8.1 x64 Edition Build 9600 Application Version - 15.0.0.463(B.) Also, now she can't seem to sign. She puts in her email (only one she uses) & the password she had written down. I said password was wrong, so she clicked "forgot password?" & made a new one only to be told still she had wrong password. Why can't she access her Kaspersky account? edit: B sted cool.gif
  12. Hi, I'm actually typing this for my sister b/c she's afraid to get back on her computer. Every time she turns her comp on Kaspersky would pop a box up telling her "wifi network insecure". I told her it's probably just someone local that doesn't want to pay for their wifi so they're connecting in to hers, but she's scared that someone is hacking her comp. When she brings up Kaspersky, everything says it is protected & up to date. So she wants to know, why does it keep popping up if she's protected & what can she do to stop it? Thank You PattiT
