  1. Installed Kav 19 on version 18 without problems. The only thing I notice is that when doing a full scan the fan of the processor turned much faster than with respect to version 18 so I suppose it uses more processor than the previous version
  2. How long can it take between the time I buy a license and the active one? For example can I acquire a license now and activate it just in September?
  3. W10 Pro 64 1709 buid 16299.64 and KAV 18.0.0.405 (d) without problems, so well that I deleted windows.old. Comodo 10 Firewall (only the firewall) Disable Defender and Defender Firewall ( This is what is now called the windows firewall)
  4. I have been using KAV and Comodo free firewall for a long time. At this moment I have installed KAV 18.0.0.405 (d) and Comodo Firewall 10.0.1.6294 enabled only the firewall. I have never had nor do I have problems.
  5. https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/374415-kav-1800405b-does-not-detect-external-disk/ The same happens in the 2017 version. But there is a difference between 2018 and 2017 versions. 2017 when connect via USB an external disk asks to scan it, 2018 does not if the disc is greater than 64GB .
  6. Hi Berny "Full Scan of devices with volume less than 64 GB. When you connect an external device with more than 64 GB of storage space, Kaspersky Internet Security does not scan it and does not prompt you for any actions to take on the connected device. If the external device has less than 64 GB of storage capacity, Kaspersky Internet Security runs a full scan of all files on the external device in accordance with the settings of the Full Scan task." Full Scan of devices with volume less than 64 GB. When you connect an external device with more than 64 GB of storage space, Kaspersky Internet Security does not scan it and does not prompt you for any actions to take on the connected device. If the external device has less than 64 GB of storage capacity, Kaspersky Internet Security runs a full scan of all files on the external device in accordance with the settings of the Full Scan task. You're rigth, but it is a limit that does not exist in the previous version. Why did Kaspersky put that limit? If I connect a disk greater than 64gb Kav 2018 does not scan it or ask if I want to scan it, it is ridiculous, it goes against security. The user could choose to scan it or not, but it is not even that option in the 2018 version.
  7. That's exactly what happens, Kav 2018 does not detect an external disk, apparently if it is greater than 64gb which is absolutely ridiculous. Kav 2017 does not have that limit.
  8. It is not correct, I have a 465GB external disk and when I connect it via USB Kav 17.0.0.611(f) asks me if I want to scan it or not. Kav 2018 does not recognize an external disk.
  9. I returned to version 17.0.0.611 (f) and it cost me enough because I had to solve the error 27300 KLIM6.SYS_X64_NT602 Error code 2147023170 I'll wait for some more evolution of the 2018 version
  10. I have another problem, it does not perform a full scan, it remains at 1%. Where can I download the previous version again?
  11. Kav 18.0.0.405 (b) does not detect usb external disk and therefore does not ask if it should be scanned. When clik on External device scan it say "No external devices connected to the computer are detected" and by the way I have connected an external usb disk
  12. They returned in Kav 17.0.0.611 (a) when a full scan is requested. Thank you very very much
  13. Well I'm not sure that is not a Kav problem. Nothing has happened in W10, no update, nothing new, the only thing that changed was Kav for it's updates, and today the problem no longer occurs.
