Hi people just installed sec center 9 and KES8 since installing this on my machines i have lose the connection for RDP to all desktops our network is a b class: our VPN address is: i can remote desktop on the same LAN no problems its just getting in from outside - i cannot find which rule would control this i have added as a local network under firewall options which i thought would allow the connection in but no luck anyone had this problem? the older MP4 clients worked fine

Hi People i am currently deploying our yearly Kaspersky Enterprise Licence to the servers and workstations all workstations have successfully accepted the licence 60% of servers have accepted the licence 40% show 'Licence is blocked by Kaspersky Lab' any suggestions these are a mixture of windows 2003 + 2008 servers so there is nothing which can be matched to all of them which is causing the problem from what i can see - also no kasperksy errors in the event log on the each server Cheers Jake Ryan

Hello i seem to be having a problem on clients running the new MP4 of Kaspersky they seem to get disconnected from their SAP sessions after a couple of minutes SAP does have an idle time out of 20mins but in these cases people are actually working on them at the time has anyone else got this problem? on the older version of kaspersky this is not a problem.....and this is the only difference between the machines does anyelse here run SAP (i am guessing alot of people do) do you have any exceptions for SAP or the GuiXT part i have checked the events on the computer and from the admin kit and nothing shows up.....but i know this is the only difference any help on this would be great Cheers

I Have the exact same problem mainly with one machine - so far i have done 100 out of 250 so i can keep control of anything that goes wrong i have re-installed both AV and net agent to see what it could be....on the client all is green and healthy.....in the admin kit protection is off but it shows under events no errors and that the updates had completed i have checked the correct IP addresses are being looked and tested the connection from the admin kit.....when i so a sysinfo from the admin kit it shows the correct machine everytime i restart i get a green symbol in the admin kit but after a minute it is red again so far this is the only PC i am having this problem with......this machine has not been renamed on the pc or via the admin kit i will post a reports Starting utility 'klnagchk'... Hi People our slave server is currently showing this when doing any updates i have googled this but all items i have tried have failed i have tried changing the service logon to a different domain admin account with no luck - also caused me a problem where the service would no longer start back up either (any solutions on this would be great also i have also tried rollingback i ahve even made a new schedule with no luck this machine is running the newer version of admin kit i have 3 updates tasks one is master to slave one is old version of AV update - the one with th problem one is the new version of AV update - currently only one machine with the new client the easier option is probably just to upgrade all the client to the new version but it is a 24 hour production enviroment and causing restarts if definatly one thing i dont want to keep doing obviously i have restarted a couple of time when the plant has hit delays but still no luck Cheers
  7. thankyou for your reply....i just tested this on a test machine and it completely knocked out the network card?.... i had to uninstall Kaspersky completely to get it running again...i am going to install everything again now and try again....i just tried this on my vista machine and it looks to have improved a few more tests and this could be my answer thankyou

Hi People we are having problems with one of our companies complaining about speed on their systems there are only 9 clients and one server, clients are XP - Server is 2003 - we are running version the virtual memory usuage for Kaspersky is 182,000 this does seem a bit high compared to a symantec endpoint product i saw the other day i think the main problem they are having is the real time scanning - i am wondering if this could be slowing them down the most is everyones virtual memory the same on your systems? if not any ideas what the problem could be...i am happy to provide screenshot of any area that could help Cheers Untitled.bmp
  10. i am using netsupport which is just a shiney version of VNC....i will try adding it in the trusted zone what is the NDIS filter? would this be whats stopping the pings requests?
  11. all machines are XP it is a 2003 domain i am using Kapersky version on all clients before kaspersky is installed we can remote control and ping all devices as soon as they start up with kaspersky installed they cannot be remote controlled of pinged until the user logs on....which i am guessing the userenv 1030 is also in the same boat as it cannot contact the DC properly to update security policies once the user logs in i can ping/remote control and update group policys with the command line....also if the user logs back off i can still remote control...it just seems to be the initial startup....does kaspersky block connections until it is fully loaded? so it could be blocking all connections until the PC is logged on and all the services and applications are fully started? Hello i am wondering if anyone else is getting userenv errors on their domain conputers since kaspersky installs? i have also noticed i cannot ping a machine until the user logs into the system, when the screen is sitting on the windows logon i cannot ping the machine or remote control it anyone else hve/had this problem? Hello i have currently just disabled self defence from the service policy so that VNC and Netsupport can be used properly and for remote deployments the problem is now.....the attention message showing on client machines i have removed the important notification options to do with self defence and applied the policy to the client but it is still showing....which will cause problems when everyone start to see an error and panic any help would be great Cheers Jake Ryan Notification.bmp

Hi i have set up a remote site with Kaspersky.....all is working fine regarding updates and installation the only problem being: i have set the 'On-Demand Scan' to start up the PC's at 6am and scan ready for users in the morning at around 7:30-8:00 all PC's seem to be starting up except the Dells (i am waiting on the exact model) they have some IBM/Lenovo computers that all start up at 6am and go perfectly fine which people are happy with any ideas Cheers
  15. it seems to be working ok for me now, it has not been seen as a virus over the weekend or mon and tues, so i see it as working i dont know which exclusion is solving the problem but it is holding ok thankyou
