  1. @ashumer Maybe add SM site URLs to a “document” (excel/word/notepad/browser Favorites). Then copy and paste from “document” into new verion of KIS. ?
  2. My version of Kaspersky Internet Security is 21.2.16.590(C) on a 64 bit Win 10 Home also on Win 10 Pro PC’s. I live in the U.K. and I’m concerned that I'm not using the correct National Version! If it is not corrected - does it really matter? (Or is it just keeping the lawyers happy?) Does mismatch of Version to Country create update problems? What is the correct UK version and where can I download it (link please) ? Do the national versions state which counties they are suitable for before installation?
  3. @Wesly.Zhang I guess 2021 mr3 is KIS 21.2.16.590 (C) that has recently appeared on this PC? - it has made no change to the Certificate problem. You other suggestions have and did work! @Wesly.Zhang @Flood and Flood's wife @rufford155 Using the SSL checking website mentioned by rfford155 in his posts about Certificates, it would appear that autodiscover.rocketmail.com does not check out. The only use of Rocketmail with MS 365 Apps is either from the login to MS Account, or the invitation to download and install MS 365. I decided to change the Primary Login to MS Account to “another email” address. The next use of MS 365 indicated there was a login error changing it to the “another email” solved that error AND the autodiscover.rocketmail.com error. 😊 Subsequent running another MS 365 App; so far, causes no errors! Thanks to all for your help.
  4. @Wesly.Zhang Hello, Fortunately made a record of the KIS Config effective before my Cert Error messages. I rolled back KIS settings to that time and set Excel.exe as trusted application and created rule in application control. Leaving Word.exe unchanged and rebooted PC. Result - Excel=NO Cert Error! Word=Cert Error. Also noted, as you said, the change to the rule in Settings > Threats and Exclusions > Specify trusted Applications. - Excel listed. I have now also applied your suggestions to Word. Thanks for your help
  5. @Wesly.Zhang Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Are you suggesting that I undo the following KIS configuration: Settings > Network Settings > Manage Exclusions > Add Domain: autodiscover.rocketmail.com and substitute the following : Tools > Manage Applications > Application Control > Manage Applications > (choose) Microsoft > (choose) Excel > right Click choose Details and Rules > (tab) Exclusions > (tick) Do Not Scan Encrypted Traffic > (edit) Only for Specified Ports enter 80, 443 ?? I see that both Word.exe and Excel.exe are already present in the Tools Trusted List of Apps! Regards.
  6. @Wesly.Zhang I think the web site certification relates to Rocketmail.com which is the domain of one of my email mail boxes for example myname@rocketmail.com . This address was used was used as login name when I created my Microsoft Account, also used by a family member who has invited me to join Microsoft 365 - which as I'm sure you know, allows me to download and use Microsoft Office 365. I have seen the Cert Error when I run Excel and Word. I've not tried the other apps and Outlook is not configured. 4 Images attached - hope they help
  7. Further to this, I have used:- Settings > Network Settings> scroll down to Manage Exclusions> Add autodiscover.rocketmail.com > Make Active > Save > Confirm Change Re-Boot So far so good.
  8. @rufford155 As you may have noticed from my recent post on this forum, I too have been suffering from Certificate problems. I’ve also noted that pressing a “wrong” button on the error message tends to inhibit further flagging. I’ve taken to making a KIS Configuration backup - thus if the error vanishes it can be repeated by restoring the KIS config using the backup. Hope this helps with a vexing problem. Fortunately mine, at present, seems to occur with only one site.
  9. @Flood and Flood's wife @Wesly.Zhang Thanks for your posts. On reflection, perhaps what I encountered was MS 365 trying to be helpful having assumed that my Microsoft Account Login was a regular email address frequently used and tried to setup MS 365 Outlook to access it? Only to encounter a problem. - see Wesly’s post. Who knows ??? 😄
  10. @Flood and Flood's wife@Berny@Wesly.Zhang @Berny @Wesly.Zhang @Flood and Flood's wife Thank you for your comments. Mr & Mrs Flood, - “Sorry no images” = I failed to make a screen grab of the error message! However, Berny’s post does show a screen grab which I believe is very similar to the one that I observed. Berny, thanks for the screen grab and the link to various fixes and KIS settings to enhance protection. I have now altered the config of KIS and hope these will keep the problem suppressed! Not that KIS was doing a bad job when the site first tried to appear. Wesly Zhang, the only active FireFox Add-on is the Extension ‘Kaspersky Protection” v 1.3.8.0 Dec 2020 - which I believe is required for KIS protection. 11. Sorry no screen image. The Kaspersky error message appeared while I was looking at the opening screen to MS 365 Excel. I have not made MS 365 Outlook the client for any email service. At present Rocketmail is accessed either by Windows 10 Mail (that’s the client that come fee with Win 10 or Webmail. BR
  12. Q1. The MS 365 was from MS via my MS Account. Q2. Sorry no images. Q3. Yes. Q4. I’ll PM the report to you. BR
  13. I have just installed Microsoft 365 (Office) with windows 10 Home 64 bit and then accessed the internet. Kaspersky Internet Security v21.2.16.590(b) - Web Anti-Virus has reported:- Event : Download denied User : MEDION-LAPTOP-G\Me User type : Active user Application name : firefox.exe Application path : C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox Component : Web Anti-Virus Result description : Blocked Type : Probability of unauthorized software download Name : https://best-winnerspace1.life/?u=utt8wwl&o=67zmqf5&t=en_mac.txt&cid=41-297-20210223015523b67eb1f15 Threat level : High Object type : Web page Object name : ?u=utt8wwl&o=67zmqf5&t=en_mac.txt&cid=41-297-20210223015523b67eb1f15 Object path : https://best-winnerspace1.life I never searched for best-winnerspace1.life and did not attempt any download. KIS has reported a further two further instances of attempted downloads. I'm now concerned that MS 365 contains some malicious code.
  14. For the last 25 years I've used Rocketmail (now part of Yahoo) via webmail and Windows 10 Mail without a problem. Today, I've installed Microsoft 365 as a member of a family group. While looking at Excel (NOT Outlook) a window appeared and KIS 21.2.16.590(b) Web Anti-Virus reports:- Event : SSL connection with invalid certificate detected User type : Not defined Application name : EXCEL.EXE Application path : C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16 Component : Web Anti-Virus Result description : Blocked Object name : autodiscover.rocketmail.com Reason : Invalid name of certificate. Either the name is not on the allowed list, or was explicitly excluded. Advice welcome!
  15. Yes, only the Browser was Modified in fact I used the KIS Settings>Manage Settings>Restore, to undo inadvertent changes. I should have Backed settings up to a file before I started (or used paper and pencil!! 😉 ) slap on wrist. I’m also delighted.
16. @Flood and Flood's wife A1 Turning off Script injection made no improvement - in fact I could not even log onto the site! Then A2 Think “Do not scan encrypted connections” was not set on, so tried setting ON - no improvement. Reset to “Scan encrypted connections upon request from protection components” - which I presume is the default. Rather than proceeding to B, decided to tweak default browser (Firefox) by making Options>Privacy & Security>Permissions>Exception to Allow popups from Ancestry site. This exception allows me to access the Tree Sharing options on Ancestry! Thanks for your thoughts.
  17. I don’t use the Ancestry web site frequently, but tonight I found that their button that allows the generation of an email or link so others can access my family tree, Fails to function correctly. My default browser is Firefox, but this problem also happens with new Edge. My (reluctant) work around is to disable KIS 21.2.16.590(b) and reboot. Ancestry is the only web site that I’ve had to resort to this action! I have made Ancestry aware of the problem. Any suggestions??
  18. Think I’ve found the answer to my own question!!😀 By using Settings > Protection > Data Provision Agreement > Switching off “Statement Regarding Data Processing For Marketing Purposes” As well as removing ticks from “News Notifications” and “Promotional Materials” within Settings > Interface. Now no Envelope on the Main Screen at thee bottom left side - hooray!!
  19. Running 64bit Windows 10 Home with two users, A & B Installed KIS 21.1.15.500. Recently when user A logged-in the version self updated to 21.2.16.590(b) At bottom left of main screen there are two icons Gear Wheel (Settings) and Head (Support). User B logged in and their version of KIS also self updated to 21.2.16.590(b) HOWEVER for user B, bottom left of main screen there are three icons Envelope, Gear Wheel and Head. Removing the ticks from all the boxes in Settings >Interface > Notifications and News Notifications fails to make any change to the bottom left of main screen for user B. The envelope remains and its actions are unchanged. I'm prepared to edit the registry - please, just tell me where to make the required change.
  20. @Flood and Flood's wife Thanks for your comments. Think this was a push message. I’ve requested a new card and numbers ! I’m aware that KIS and Home Safe are separate systems - but neither seemed to block or alert the user to the possible fraudulent nature of the message. I have made a posting on the Talktalk Community site.BR & Happy Christmas to you & Mrs Flood! Stay Safe in 2021
  21. ......... to win an Samsung Galaxy S10" Just give us your credit card details to cover the postage. So - https://thepurposeful.us/make/uk said. I should have smelt a scam when this pop up message appeared on my Android phone - but I fell for it! But hey, where was the Talktalk Home Safe protection that's part of my subscription or Kaspersky Internet Security - not a peep from either? Credit card now being replaced. Or was it genuine??
  22. @Igor Kurzin Shame about these restrictions. I have implemented a similar workarround. Thanks Igor - keep safe!
  23. Several months ago I installed KIS for Android v11.57.4.4190 on my Sony Xperia Xa2. I browse the internet using Opera v60.3.3004.55692 with Google as search engine. I’ve scanned All Files with no problems being indicated. KIS had not reported any problems until a couple of days ago when it raised the issue "Internet Protection does not support the default browser." Apparently only KIS on Android, only supports Google Chrome. As far as I can recall I have not changed any settings such Default Browser or Internet Protection, so I'm surprised that this message has appeared only recently. Suggestions welcome!
  24. @GnosticSpirit @andrew75 I too had a problem with Renewal. See my post :- https://community.kaspersky.com/kaspersky-internet-security-13/kaspersky-internet-security-licence-renewal-dr-increase-closed-5130 The above had direct debited my bank account 1 month before then of the license!! I note that this year; with a bit over a month of license remaining, a big red reminder button Renew is on my KIS display. Good luck with your quest - I was successful in the end and got my money back.
