I have just renewed myKaspersky Licence and opted for Kaspersky Pure. I see I now have a new process in Task Manager, i.e. ProtectedObjectSrv.exe, which I gather relates to something called Inforwatch Cryptostorage. Having Googled this, I see that Infowatch is a company with links to Kaspersky, so I imagine the process is not a trojan or similar. But I would like to know what this process is for and whether I can safely remove it from Task Manager. Modern software is hideously bloated and involves far too many processes, which then clog up Task Manager and slow down CPUs. So I wonder why I have two instances of avp.exe running. Are they both necessary? Any comments to enlighten me?
