  1. Today, I finally gave up on KIS 2014. I struggled with the slow loading of webpages for about a month. I waited until patch b came out, hoping that would solve the problem. It did not solve the problem for me. So I downloaded KIS 2013, used the kavremover tool to uninstall KIS 2014, installed KIS 2013, and the problem of slow loading webpages is gone.
  2. Tremendous! Thanks richbuff. That did the trick. I appreciate the quick response and I'm glad I found a good resource (this forum and it's members) to help me get the most out of KIS.
  3. Greetings. I am new to Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. I have one copy installed on my desktop computer and one copy installed on my Macbook Pro notebook computer which is running Windows XP via Bootcamp. KIS won't update automatically update on the notebook computer unless it is connected to a power source (A/C power). It will not automatically update even if the battery is at full charge. As soon as I plug the computer into a power source, it will update automatically. Is this normal behavior for KIS? Is there a setting in either KIS 2009 or in Windows XP that will allow KIS 2009 to update automatically if it's not connected to a power source?
