  1. Hi, We are currently reselling Kaspersky products in our country but now have realised that there is no longer any offline setup for KIS 2019. The only file we can only find is the Startup.exe file in the download sections. May we kindly request if we can get this offline setup so we can save on bandwidth and also speed up installations from our end please? Internet in our country is both slow and expensive, downloading the same file multiple times doesn't seem to be the best way to go. Appreciate any comments on this and if at all possible to get this stand-alone complete setup file. Best regards, Karotu
  2. Hi, I am looking for any documentation on installing KSC to work with an existing KES10 for Linux Debian Server. Is it possible to install KSC on a workstation but pointing to the Linux KES install on the file server? Idea is to set aside a workstation to manage the linux file server using RSAT and also install KSC as well.. I look forward to hearing from suggestions.. Best regards, K
  3. Hi, I just downloaded a fresh copy of updates up to around 80% then I had a disconnection. I then restarted the update.. I'm now back to 10%.. :-( Is this normal? Would appreciate a feature to keep these files so it can continue properly without re-downloading it all over again.. or maybe it does already? Cheers, K
  4. Thanks Artem for your reply. Here is what I would like to accomplish.. In my Web Management Console under Real-Time Protection, I have the following stats Objects scanned 855245 Short statistics Objects detected 43098 Infected objects 43075 Other objects detected 23 Probably infected objects detected 0 Objects disinfected 0 Quarantined objects 0 Objects deleted 209 Objects not disinfected 209 Processing errors 2209 Password-protected objects 122 Corrupted objects 1 I would like Kaspersky to actually delete the 43075 Infected objects. According to Objects deleted, only 209 have been deleted? Is there a setting within the console to actually force this? Under Protection Areas I have set Security Settings to Disinfect; Delete. Should this do the job? Best regards, K
  5. Hi, I am using Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux File Server Version: 8.0.3.297 with the Web Management Console active. I have currently setup it's Security settings to auto delete any infected files. Now, it is detecting them but not removing from the share.. I found this for every detection in the logs for this particular task. 9166 0xf6b7db70 Error [oas_ods_common] Object /data/sample/folder/virus.exe adding to quarantine/backup, error Size limit reached Why is this happening and how can I resolve this so that all infected files are deleted from shares? Many thanks in advance.. K
  6. Hi, I managed to install kes4lwks_8.0.1-50_i386.deb on an Ubuntu 12.04 server by mistake. Now, I have to install the correct Kaspersky software ie kav4fs_8.0.3-297_i386.deb but cannot. When I uninstall, the following happens. dpkg -r kes4lwks dpkg: warning: there's no installed package matching kes4lwks When I try and install the correct version, I get the following.. root@lmdsrv:~# dpkg -i kav4fs_8.0.3-297_i386.deb dpkg: regarding kav4fs_8.0.3-297_i386.deb containing kav4fs:i386: kav4fs:i386 conflicts with kes4lwks kes4lwks:i386 (version 8.0.1-50) is present and installed. kes4lwks:i386 provides kes4lwks and is present and installed. dpkg: error processing kav4fs_8.0.3-297_i386.deb (--install): conflicting packages - not installing kav4fs:i386 Errors were encountered while processing: kav4fs_8.0.3-297_i386.deb Is there a way to remove this manually so I can install the correct Kaspersky software? Would appreciate any assistance on this. Many thanks in advance.. Best regards, K
  7. Many thanks JanRei. Good to know that 2016 is supported with this update utility.
  8. Can someone confirm if this has worked with them please? I have tried this and does not work. If anyone knows if there is a new update utility for KIS 2016, that would be great. Cheers
  9. Hi, We are having an issue with KES10 10.1.0.867 with MDaemon Outlook plugin. On startup of Outlook 2010, it takes a long time (sometimes freezes) to get the Outlook plugin to actually start populating emails. When we exit Kaspersky, Outlook immediately polls emails straight away. Is there a way to get the MDaemon plugin to be registered amongst the trusted applications / DLLs etc? I noticed it is not listed anywhere there. Or is it something else? Kind regards, Karotu

  11. Hi, We are currently rolling out this new version on a customer's PC but notice that ncomputing now does not work. Is there a place where we can seek support for this particular problem directly? Will be posting more info on this problem so Support can help resolve this issue if it is new. Kind regards, Karotu
  12. Hi Helmut, Could you kindly update us on an updated release date for this please? I cannot find a link to it in the download sections. Kind regards, Karotu
  13. Thank you Helmut! This is good news. When you mean version 8, is this the new version of kav4samba? 5.8.0? or 8.0? Anyway, is there a download spot we could watch so we can download once its available? Or better, get notified when it is available? Kind regards, Karotu
