  1. I meant to post this one: https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/390181-kaspersky-secure-connection-ads-please-stop-off-topic-has-been-moved-elsewhere/ I can't find the options to edit or delete my previous post.
  2. How often: not more than once a day for me. When: random, some times when the pc boots, some times hours later.. 3 or 4 days ago it wasn't showing up, i thought it was fixed but i saw it again yesterday and today. "+ submit there a GSI report." Yeah, sorry. I'm going to pass on that. I just read the GSI user agreement and the amount of data it collects is more than i am willing to share for something so simple as a product ad showing up when it shouldn't. It's not like there's some kind of incompatibility with KAV and my system. I don't know if this helps or not, but all the screenshots i've seen so far are showing the portuguese version of the product. I too am using the portuguese version as you can see in the pic. If you go to the portuguese sub-forum, you'll see other people complaining about the ads, something i haven't seen in other sub-forums for different languages.
  3. Same here https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/390181-kaspersky-secure-connection-ads-please-stop/&tab=comments#comment-2790953 here: https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/392282-propaganda-não-solicitadaunsolicited-advertising/&tab=comments#comment-2791181 here: https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/392611-não-quero-popups-oferecendo-produtos/ and probably more
  4. I myself will not disable notifications for events because: 1st: i find them important and don't want to miss them 2nd: the ads come in pop up windows and not the traditional card in the corner 3rd: i paid for KAV so i wouldn't have to be bothered by the ads the free version shows. Except for ads, kav and kaspersky free are (almost) identical. It seems i paid 30 bucks to have pretty much the same protection and experience that the free version offers. If that wasn't enough, i'm forced to lose a bit of my time to come here and complain. Crippling the experience is not a fix.
  5. I've been searching for this but haven't found a specific answer. I have been using KAV for years. I recently discovered that Kaspersky Free exists and it seems pretty much the same thing. Can anyone tell me what are the differences between the 2? What does KAV (not KIS) have that explains the $40 price tag compared to the free option? Thanks in advance
  6. I know this is going to be merged with http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=316466 which is closed but i have a question. I was reading the last posts and noticed that harlan4096 informed us with a screenshot that the MR1 version of 2016 will have the option to disable the injection of the script. This is good because lots of people actually don't want this but.. will the "bug" (i'm using quotes because some devs on the russian forum say it's not a bug and it's working as it should) be fixed? And i mean, the multiple injections per page that prevents them from fully loading and makes web developing a hell. Am am currently using KAV 2015 because it works as it shoud: it injects one time per page. Will the upcoming version only give the option to disable the injection? Will it still keep spamming nonstop for those who want it on (to take full advantage of the security they are paying) or will it be working fine like in older versions? Am i wasting everyones time by posting this here and should be opening a ticket just to ask a simple question?
  7. The last thread about this problem (http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=316466) was closed, why? I upgraded KAV two days ago to the 2016 version and i'm getting crazy with this. 1- It affects KAV as well 2- It happens even while the protection is paused 3- It happens even with the browser plugin disabled 4- It slows down my browser when i have a fair amount of tabs open, specially on imgur. What the heck?
