Kaspersky Security Cloud

Hello! I am using Kaspersky Security Cloud (free) on Windows 10 Pro 21H1. The language on the app is in Norwegian. My laptop has been in Swedish for a while, but it's not anymore. All my language and region settings are correct (Finland). I can change the language to English in the app by clicking shit + F12, but its only temporare and I can't find any language settings in the app. I would prefer video/picture answers, so I will know exactly where to click. I have searched for many tutorials, none of them worked, even the one on kaspersky help website didn't help. Thanks! ?

Just downloaded Kaspersky Security Cloud Free, but It says I have 21.7.7.393 Kaspersky Free in "about" Using Win7 set at maximum 1440x900 max resolution. Display for Kasp is too wide for screen, and requires me to use mouse to move it left or right to see all. There is no "window" option, only "minimize" or "exit". I could find no settings to adjust it within the program. Guessing the programmers got *****, and decided EVERYBODY has a HD screen display? Anybody know a fix? I chose it because the recent software upgrade from AVAST assumes I have a super computer with a zillion GB of memory, and reduced me to a crawl unless I turned off the protection. …

HI everyone facing the weirdest issue I have faced. I have Kaspersky Security cloud It causes issues for me in steam like during remote sharing/steam link to tv , However the weird issue is If I uninstall or remove Kaspersky completely Steam will always be in offline mode and will not connect to the internet If I install kaspersky security cloud back then steam will start working in online mode I have tried installing and uninstalling steam this issue seems like a major problem. Kaspersky opened up today and asked me to press a button to learn more about switching to their new free version. Still, when I press this button it takes me to the website about the learn more for a split second then puts me into the main Kaspersky page and in french for some reason (I'm Canadian but I haven't set my language to french at all.)

So, Kaspersky launched up for me and said to press a learn more button about what to know when switching from Kaspersky security cloud free to their new version. When I press the button it shows me the Learn more website for a split second then redirects me to the main Kaspersky site in french (I'm Canadian but I don't speak it) Why does this happen?

It's seemed my Kaspersky Security Cloud block my Bing Copilot. I have to Shut down Kaspersky in order to use Bing Copilot.

The irony of Kaspersky banning RT. I am living in Western Europe where RT (www.rt.com) is banned. So I finally set up a vpn to access that site and then lo and behold a Russian antivirus software of all things is what is now blocking it. The irony. This started this week. Three or so days ago. hi there KL teams, As we already have the "Pause Protection" menu item, I'd really appreciate a "Pause Notifications" button as well. Thus completely silencing the app for a given amount of time (1h/2h/4h/1day).. It is a bit annoying when a popup show's up in a middle of an online meeting while you present something... Why am I getting messages saying “unable to check link; Please be careful browsing this site“ when I’m not using my phone? Sometimes there will be 10+ such messages that appear overnight (they also appear during the day). When I click it, it just takes me to the Kaspersky app on my phone - no explanation of what link or site it’s referring to. Thank you, Beth

I am using Kaspersky Security Cloud Free. I have a question about Trusted Applications in Settings. All I want is for KSC not to interfere with some applications, not to scan files which they open and not to scan the program files every time I open them. I am not sure what some of the boxes mean. The Kaspersky online Help doesn't explain in detail to the average user what they mean, Can anyone recommend which boxes to check?

Good day, I recently got a Samsung S22 Ultra and have Kaspersky Security Cloud Family. I got an alert when I installed Kaspersky that Safe Browsing is not enabled, however when I go through the steps and I reach the Accessibility page and click Installed Apps, I see Kaspersky there and when I click it, I click Allow, but after a second or two, it just returns me to the page with the Accessibility> Installed Apps and I see Kaspersky as Off. I tried rebooting my phone and updating all the apps, and everything is up to date, but the issue persists. I migrated from a Samsung Note 10+ and I never had any issue on this phone.

For a couple weeks now I've been unable to connect to both the Steam and Epic Games Launchers. After a lot of troubleshooting I was able to narrow the cause down to Kaspersky Security Cloud specifically. I have been using Kaspersky for over two years now with no issue but suddenly it started preventing connections. I found that I have to completely close Kaspersky in order for both launchers to be able to connect, I can't just pause protection. I tried disabling things in the settings that made sense to me and adding them as trusted applications but nothing seemed to work. Most of the time password manager works fine with only the appropriate login names and passwords displayed for any particular website. However, for one particular banking website, when pressing on the Kaspersky key next to the login name field on the login webpage password manager displays virtually all the stored login names it has saved rather than the login names for that particular website. This means I have to scroll through all the other account logins to find the login name for that particular website. I have previously reported this issue to support but it remains unresolved. Grateful for any potential solutions.

I had to reinstall Windows 10 and when I went to reinstall Kaspersky Cloud Free it sent me to Kaspersky Free which is fine with me. But after installing Kaspersky Free it says I can't activate it without an activation code, which I have to purchase. Why do I need to do that if it's free?
