Hey, if you ever see SmartClock.exe on your computer, go end task and do full scan on kaspersky! When im first installing kaspersky, it automatically detect it as a virus and delete the trojan horse. Thank you so much kaspersky, without you, my laptop can’t survive this long.

Has anyone else got noticed a throttling of incoming SMB transfers when KSC is active? And is there a way around it!? Quite like the product otherwise! Took a while of headscratching as to why my NAS wasn’t performing as expected, with fast uploads in the 750MB/s-900MB/s region as expected, but slow downloads, hitting a wall at just over 270MB/s….. disabling kaspersky see’s it back where it’s supposed to be. If it’s a known thing, we need a way to disable whatever scanning slows things down for traffic incoming from specific hosts or networks! It might not be much of an issue over gigabit, but as multi-gig gets more common and more home networks are moving to all …

Why is it so easy to bypass Kaspersky protection in Kaspersky Security Cloud and particularly application manager? All that is required is to click on the licensed email address at the bottom and click the change account option. No password is required! Any random email address can then be entered and Kaspersky will revert to free version and can be disabled by the new user!

I recently started using Kaspersky Security Cloud Personal, not having used a Kaspersky product before. This evening it informed me there was an update available for the K-Lite Codec Pack, which I’ve previously updated myself (it checks for and notifies of updates itself every couple of weeks). I clicked to allow KSC to do the update. Part way through the update I started getting warnings flying open from KSC demanding to know whether to allow or block various things - mostly Registry changes, many for each of the various different components of the K-Lite Codec Pack. It went on and on flashing these up for over TEN MINUTES. MANY tens of demands for permissions, each …

Windows 10 Pro 1909 - Security Cloud Free 20.0.14 Could you please clarify what the rollback element of System Watcher is designed for? Will it ‘restore’ altered system files, only encrypted personal files or both after a ransomware attack? Is it designed to handle only a small number of files ‘missed’ before the ransomware could be blocked, or is it capable of handling a far larger number of files? Are files restored from a ‘cache’ and are there any file size limits other than available hard drive space? Is file rollback protection applicable to files on any connected drive or only the C drive? I ask because I’m considering NeuShield Data Sentinel as a companion …

Just wanting to leave a positive review, Kaspersky has never done me wrong, had a couple screen freezes here and there when i mixed BitDefender with Kaspersky but i’m not here to complain i’m simply here to thank the developers of this amazing software for wanting to keep the cyber community safe :) I have a rather beefy computer so i haven’t had any lag issues or anything, i’m running Nvidia Geforce RTX2080 Super with a i7-8700K with 16GB of DDR4 ram running at 3200MHZ i believe with a 1TB M.2SSD. If someone from the development team sees this, could you satisfy my curiosity and maybe tell me how many lines of code are in Kaspersky. Coding interests me, even though as of…

Hi, I downloaded Kaspersky Security Cloud yesterday and ran some scans. It turned out that my computer had Trojan/vrruses but I wasnt sure whether Kaspersky removed them. The "Result" column in the scan report only says that it is "Detected", "Not processed", "Processing Error" or "Corrupted". Does "Detected" means that the viruses has been removed from my computer? What's wrong with the "Not processed", "Processing Error" and "Corrupted" files? Should I just delete them manually? Thank you for your time!

I don't know why, but the button "Check reputation KSN" is grayed out. I use KSCF with enabled "Kaspersky Network Security Statement". I tried restarting my computer and av, (ofc it didn't do anything) and now I don't know what to do.

I’ve been a Kaspersky fan since the first time I installed their antivirus, probably in 2002,03 or something, when they still had that pig sound when a virus was found. I’m sadly extremely disappointed with my experience after I’ve purchased what it seemed to be their best product till date - Kaspersky Security Cloud. Every time I open a new tab to go to any webpage doesn’t matter the browser I get “This site can’t be reached” error, where I have to refresh once or multiple times to get to my destination, every single time. This stops from happening and my browsing experience is normal if I exit the KSC. Yes, I’ve tried disabling all network setting check under KSC se…

I am using Kaspersky Security Cloud Free. I have a question about Trusted Applications in Settings. All I want is for KSC not to interfere with some applications, not to scan files which they open and not to scan the program files every time I open them. I am not sure what some of the boxes mean. The Kaspersky online Help doesn't explain in detail to the average user what they mean, Can anyone recommend which boxes to check?

I have KSC 2019 installed on my sons sys. He uses steam to play his games. He tries launching Rainbow Six Siege and gets a "A ubisoft service is unavailable" error. I've researched it a little and it says to allow it through the firewall. Shouldnt KSC notify me and auto set this up? And how do I safely allow something through my firewall while keeping my protection intact? Any help would be great. Oh i have Windows 10 latest updates.

I really need to disable the protection, but KSC won’t let me! I go to the Pause protection, set “Pause until application restart” and click the “Pause protection” button to accept. A dialog asking for confirmation appears but closes right away. After this point, Kaspersky stops taking my clicks. I’m unable to click anything in the Pause protection window, or the main Kaspersky window. It still detects my keyboard input. So I tried using the keyboard on the Pause protection window, but absolutely nothing happens when I select the “Pause protection” button with Tab and hit Enter or Space. I’m on Windows 10 (10.0.18363.720).

So I installed the free version and used the full version trial. After the trial ended I thought changing my Kapersky account can renew the trial but it didn’t. The problem is I can’t change it back to the free one because whenever I open, this showed up and I don’t know how to exit from it. So I have no protection now. Any help? Thank you

I installed Kaspersky Security Cloud to run a scan on my computer as it was running slowly. After the normal scan, I wanted to uninstall the program, but upon running the uninstaller I was told I needed to reboot my computer before proceeding with the installation. After multiple reboots and attempts, the issue persists. Does anyone have any idea how I can uninstall the program? Thanks in advance.

Kaspersky Settings > Additional > Network > Traffic Processing > uncheck Inject Script. It would be better if we could whitelist sites we don't want it on!
