Hello, I started to get port scanned in early May of this year. I think the attacking IP’s are spoofed, so they aren’t really the ones from my LAN (Not too sure), but I’m still worried. I understand that port scanning is normal, but my router IP seems to periodically port scan 873 at almost exact time. I made sure that the blocked IP’s are blocked for 32000 minutes (~20 days). However, the same IP keeps attacking couple of days later. So I’m really confused. I attached a screenshot. Any help would be appreciated. Windows Version: Windows 10 (Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1052)) Kaspersky Version: Security Cloud (21.3.10.391 (b))

Acidentally i clicked a website with the red shield on it after a google search (didnt mean to click it) and promptly got 3 “access denied” notifications for a malicious link with the Reason: Cloud Protection all good until about 10 min later i get 7 (seven!) notifications from the same general URL (mostily .png and .svg acessets from the website) claiming “Previously opened dangerous link detected” with the Result: Not Processed I’ve ran several scans with several tools and all came back clean, and KSC did not quarentined any objects. My question is: what is the meaning of the “Not Processed” Result and should i be concerned about anything? best regards, JB

Good evening, Recently i have purchased a subscription of Total Security for 5 devices thinking that it would benefit having it on my iPhones and iPad (on the description page it says that it’s working on macOS and iOS); Unfortunately Total Security its not covering iPhones or iPads so i ended up with only 1 device being covered from a total of 5. I would love to change my subscription from Total Security into Cloud Security considering ability to get full protection on my iPhones/iPads. Is there anyone out there that went through some similar situation? What products do you guys recommend to cover 1macOS, 1Windows, a couple of iPhones/iPads? Regards,

HW based protection can’t be used while Windows Sandbox & Core Isolation are enabled, but I have heard that Windows 10 provided an api for other software co-exist with Hyper-V (VMware already supports that), when will Kaspersky support that?

I found this topic ( Link)and I have this exact issue except I’m not running any browser extensions. My audio doubles on many video websites, so when I pause or skip or whatever I do with the video audio just keeps going. For example https://streamable.com/699mvb and http://www.rdv.ba/live/ I found out if I go to encrypted connection settings and turn on do not scan they’ll stop double playing (tho I’m not sure if they stop forever because when I had this turned off for a while before I think it came back but not 100% sure). Anyhow, even if it fixes it I’m not sure if I’m losing too much protection and should keep it off or what do I do? I use firefox but this happens o…

I've been a subscriber to KIS for several years without truly knowing what it did, and since my sub recently expired I'm downgrading to KSC while I process which Antivirus software package/combination I should purchase or opt into. Previously, I was using a combination of Malwarebytes + KIS. From my brief read in the installation process, I understand KSC interferes with Malwarebytes? What are the pros and cons and/or comparion factors between my previous protection install (KIS paid+MWB free) and my current one (KSC free)? Previously, KIS paid+MWB free had a few instances where it automatically detected and quarantined Trojans. I'm worried if KSC free offers the same fun…

Hey Guys, I swore I would never, ever, come back to kaspersky because of the product problems that I was having years ago. Was a loyal customer for 8 years back then, then my mate tried out your product again, and since well we are both gamers with networks running, he suggested that I should try this product out. First thing that I noticed was the change of layout and design. The problem that I brought up years ago that was annoying and was being made out that it doesn’t happen so far has been resolved too. I am liking this…… Still trialing it out for a month though, I am hoping it wont mess with FH4 like eset does with trying to race against family. But tha…

Hi. I’m asking this question to both Kaspersky over email and here on the forum. There is an APT that has targeted a man-in-the-middle attack against me. Because of this, my phone calls and emails are constantly being intercepted by the APT. This is a serious problem, but my question for now is this: how do I make phone calls and receive emails safely and securely without them being intercepted by hackers?

Hello, I recently downloaded Kaspersky. When it finished downloading/setting up, it forced me to create a mykaspersky account. When i got to the create password part, everytime i would enter a key, it would automatically add another input. If i used shift + a letter or number to get a modified character, it would happen twice (once when i pressed down shift, and again when i hit the letter or number i was trying to modify) Example, lets say i wanted to make my password “Kaspersky1*”, (i will be using “x” to represent the added character) It would come out like this, “xKxaxsxpxexrxyxx1xx*x” . Is this normal or what?

Web Anti-Virus of Kaspersky Security Cloud gave me three notifications regarding a malicious link for the probability of unauthorized software download. They are all from the same web page, but different names. The first notification details say “Event: download denied; result description: blocked” while the other two say “Previously opened malicious link detected; result description: not processed”. What is the difference between “blocked” and “not processed”? Did Kaspersky not block the other two download attempts?

Could you create a gnome applet for Ubuntu, that would use the Kaspersky Security Network to analyze web traffic? In exchange, for contributing to KSN, a user would receive protection from KSN. Web browsers have anti-phishing, but if a user’s web browser gets infected with malware, malware could disable anti-phishing and/or collect and distribute user data to a identity thief. A security app outside the web browser would protect the user from this security risk.
