Normally I was using a trial version. But your driver's license has expired since yesterday, it says buy license. I cannot do anything on the application. Shouldn't he upgrade to the free version when the trial is over? The same happened with Internet Security.

The following windows script (run as admin) stops after the first line when Kaspersky trial version is installed. After de-installing Kaspersky and restarting the PC it works again as expected. netsh interface set interface "Lan MoBo" admin=disable ping 127.0.0.1 -n 2 netsh interface set interface "Lan MoBo" admin=enable

I have tried upgrading 2 of my existing computers from the free version of Kaspersky 2019 to the "free" version of 2020 security cloud (in fact security cloud is the only thing now offered when I search Kaspersky free) but it doesn't actually seem to be free at all. On both computers as soon as I signed in it simply complained that I didn't have a licence. It would be rather nice for a free antivirus solution to actually be a free antivirus solution, so I guess the question is are Kaspersky's licensing servers currently screwed up or is this a way of conning people into buying subs?

I have been using Kaspersky for the last four months with no issues. Recently I moved to a new house and contracted a new internet provider. still - no issues. Suddenly I have no upload speed. other devices in my home network show no problems. the only thing that worked for me was disabeling Kaspersky firewall. Any ideas what can cause this strange behavior? and what can solve it? Thanks

I have been using Kaspersky for a little over a year now and all of the sudden now I have a notification telling me to turn Hardware Virtualization on. It has been enabled and working since when I first installed cloud free. Now its telling me its turned off the reason is “Hardware Virtualization is not available. The operating system is found not to be stable when using hardware virtualization. I did a google search for this problem and the only thing I could find were 2 threads saying this was due to a bug. Is this problem a bug or some sort of other issue?

I’m am getting certain warning messages repeatedly from Kaspersky: Warning that Windows update is not enabled. Actually, it *is* enabled, but I am using a separate program to manage Windows updates, which gives me more control over such timing. Warning that a certain device has connected to our wired network. Interestingly, I’m getting this *repeatedly* for my Amazon Kindle Oasis, which I have already disconnected from the network. I would *really* like to disable these two warnings, since they are really not useful to me. Is there any way to do this?? Versions: Windows 10 [Version 6.3.19042] Kaspersky Security Cloud V21.2.16.590(b)

Hello, i am here to ask for the possible solution to a problem i encountered. When i use wget on my machine inside WSL, and i don’t disable the kaspersky protection, it doesn’t succeed because of an error regarding the fact that my certificates are self-signed. Do anyone of you know how to solve this error without the “--ca-certificate-check” option?

I’ve noted that the option “Log non-critical events” was removed from Report and Quarantine settings on KSC 21.3.10.391. It’s a bug or a definitive change?

I downloaded and installed the latest Free Security Cloud and seemingly completed the install and software asked me to re-start to initiate coverage. When I hit the re-start button my system (Windows 7) showed me warning screen that it couldn’t start normally…. said that it failed to start and said I needed to repair for it to start.. I proceeded and my system automatically went to my last restore point….deleted my recent Kaspersky install and started Windows without problems….but no Kaspersky, fortunately I had a good restore point. I tried the whole download/install process again thinking I must have done something wrong…..same thing, won’t strart normally…..not e…

Sandboxie is a well known sandbox software that was made open-source recently. I found out that a process of Kaspersky, plugins_nms.exe, causes sandboxed browsers to malfunction, probably due to Kaspersky Protection browser extension. The sandbox process fails to terminate due to Kaspersky’s self defense module. Self defense has to be disabled in order to terminate the sandboxed process. Both Edge and Chrome will struggle once sandboxed due to this process.

So I installed the free version and used the full version trial. After the trial ended I thought changing my Kapersky account can renew the trial but it didn’t. The problem is I can’t change it back to the free one because whenever I open, this showed up and I don’t know how to exit from it. So I have no protection now. Any help? Thank you

I was just going to a website when kaspersky said that the website downloads potentially unwanted programs. This is the info. Component : Web Anti-Virus Result description : Blocked Type : Probability of unauthorized software download Name : https://noughttrustthreshold.com/favicon.ico Threat level : High Object type : Web page Object name : favicon.ico Object path : https://noughttrustthreshold.com Reason : Cloud Protection I’m just wondering if what virus is "https://noughttrustthreshold.com/favicon.ico" and how does it affect a device?

Hi all, using latest Version of Security Cloud Free - lovely app und doing his job! Only annoying thing is the very “agressive” check report windows popping up every time I plug in an external drive. Scanning the drive is of course right, but i dont want every time getting a report window that nothing was found. I do a lot with external drives, so the clean report is keeping my busy all the time :) Is it possible to deactive that window or just make it coming up when something was found? If not yet, any option to implemt an option for that?! :) Happy Sunday !

As i installed kaspersky security cloud (free trial) ran a few tests and it found some trojan malware. So i deleted them all, and it told me to restart my pc. As i was turning it off this message “Application Error The instruction at 0x00007FF79F83FE4E referenced memory at 0x0000000000000038. The memory could not be read.” pops up. Now it pops up every time upon shutting down. I couldnt get a picture because it turned off quickly but i did remember some text so i googled it. So i know its not a hardware problem so its definitely a software problem, either trojan did something and by removing it it messed something up. Or kaspersky deleted some files that were detected as…

I recently installed Kaspersky yesterday on the 12th to try it out. Later that day, my laptop begins to lag and frequently disconnects from our Wi-Fi network. This has ever happened prior to installing Kaspersky. So, I decided that the extra security is not worth it if my laptop becomes unusable. I tried to uninstall it but it got stuck at the start of phase 2 of the uninstallation where it says it needs to disable or remove some utilities (or something). I left if loading for about an hour but it still did not budge. So, I thought that I need to restart the uninstallation process and cancelled the wizard. It prompted me that it will corrupt the program but I thought of i…

Every time i insert a flash drive or any external drive Karspesky scans it to do its security check. This may be a good hing but unfortunately it stop the drive (as I have it set up to do in Win 10 Pro) from opening o Explorer. This bothers me a lot. How can I stop it in doing this? I want Explorer to open. Seeing that more often than not my drives haven’t left the house I would rather stop it from checking my drives then preventing my Explorer window form opening. I do like it checking my drives and would like to keep it as is, but if I have no choice then I would stop it from checking my inserted drives. Thanks in advance
