HW based protection can’t be used while Windows Sandbox & Core Isolation are enabled, but I have heard that Windows 10 provided an api for other software co-exist with Hyper-V (VMware already supports that), when will Kaspersky support that?

I've been a subscriber to KIS for several years without truly knowing what it did, and since my sub recently expired I'm downgrading to KSC while I process which Antivirus software package/combination I should purchase or opt into. Previously, I was using a combination of Malwarebytes + KIS. From my brief read in the installation process, I understand KSC interferes with Malwarebytes? What are the pros and cons and/or comparion factors between my previous protection install (KIS paid+MWB free) and my current one (KSC free)? Previously, KIS paid+MWB free had a few instances where it automatically detected and quarantined Trojans. I'm worried if KSC free offers the same fun…

Hi. I’m asking this question to both Kaspersky over email and here on the forum. There is an APT that has targeted a man-in-the-middle attack against me. Because of this, my phone calls and emails are constantly being intercepted by the APT. This is a serious problem, but my question for now is this: how do I make phone calls and receive emails safely and securely without them being intercepted by hackers?

Hello, I am using Kaspersky Security Cloud Free. When downloading Comodo Firewall, Kaspersky Security Cloud Free says it blocks the download of trojans and the SSL certificate of the established connection is not valid. Is this a false positive?

Hey Guys, I swore I would never, ever, come back to kaspersky because of the product problems that I was having years ago. Was a loyal customer for 8 years back then, then my mate tried out your product again, and since well we are both gamers with networks running, he suggested that I should try this product out. First thing that I noticed was the change of layout and design. The problem that I brought up years ago that was annoying and was being made out that it doesn’t happen so far has been resolved too. I am liking this…… Still trialing it out for a month though, I am hoping it wont mess with FH4 like eset does with trying to race against family. But tha…

Hello all, if i connect an external drive via USB<>SATA adapter to check another PC-HDD for viruses, and then i use the selective scan to scan (for example) the P:\ drive, kaspersky will follow any junction point from P:\, and being the P:\ drive a windows HDD, with appdata, users, etc etc junction point, the result is that I waste time scanning my drive instead of the external usb one !! P:\Users → C:\Users and so on: it’s wrong, and very dangerous!! Is there any way to avoid it?? Thanks.

I have a folder that is left over in C drive that I cannot delete. The main folder is Kaspersky Security Lab and that opens to Kaspersky Security Cloud 21.3 and that opens to X64. These are the files I cannot delete as when I try to delete them it says it is opened in another program. antimalware_providerdll MSVCP140.dll product_info.dll product_metainfo.dll prremote.dll remote_eka_prague-loader.dll shellex.dll VCRUNTIME140.dll I was able to delete a whole lot just in safe mode but I could not delete these specific files above even in safe mode. I try to use the Kaspersky removal tool 2021 but the files are still there. I realize that maybe some people dont mind the ext…

Hello, I recently downloaded Kaspersky. When it finished downloading/setting up, it forced me to create a mykaspersky account. When i got to the create password part, everytime i would enter a key, it would automatically add another input. If i used shift + a letter or number to get a modified character, it would happen twice (once when i pressed down shift, and again when i hit the letter or number i was trying to modify) Example, lets say i wanted to make my password “Kaspersky1*”, (i will be using “x” to represent the added character) It would come out like this, “xKxaxsxpxexrxyxx1xx*x” . Is this normal or what?

Web Anti-Virus of Kaspersky Security Cloud gave me three notifications regarding a malicious link for the probability of unauthorized software download. They are all from the same web page, but different names. The first notification details say “Event: download denied; result description: blocked” while the other two say “Previously opened malicious link detected; result description: not processed”. What is the difference between “blocked” and “not processed”? Did Kaspersky not block the other two download attempts?

Could you create a gnome applet for Ubuntu, that would use the Kaspersky Security Network to analyze web traffic? In exchange, for contributing to KSN, a user would receive protection from KSN. Web browsers have anti-phishing, but if a user’s web browser gets infected with malware, malware could disable anti-phishing and/or collect and distribute user data to a identity thief. A security app outside the web browser would protect the user from this security risk.

Hey! 2 months ago, I was receiving multiple “Network Attack was blocked” notifications and apparently it was a false positive. It said “added to the exclusions.” Now, a couple months later and after an update, I keep getting the same notifications but this time it doesnt say that it was added to the exclusions. It says “Not processed”. I’m guessing that it’s a false positive since the context is the exact same but can please someone help me about it?

Hello! I want to remove the Safe Website icon on the browser, but I’m unable to do so. I’ve already uninstalled the Kaspersky Browser extension. I want to remove the shields icon, but I still want to enable Web Anti-virus. Is there any want to hide the shields while it’s still working as it should? Just show the icon when it’s red or dangerous.

LilySpeech is a wonderful speech to text program which has just one problem: Kaspersky Security Cloud won’t let it run. I have tried excluding its folder but I don’t know what to put in the Object box. The Security Cloud instructions link to a Virus Encyclopedia which does not exist. I have tried adding it as a Trusted Application, but here the problem is that as soon as it is installed it starts automatically and is immediately zapped by Kaspersky. I reported this as a product which should not be a problem but it is still being deleted. Can anyone help. This is extremely frustrating.
