Kaspersky Security Cloud

I have Kaspersky Security Cloud (v.20.0.14.1085i) and every time i try to play “League of Legends”, it starts rootkit scans. When i am in a match, i have increased cpu and fps drop due to this thing. It finishes the scan and it starts again. I have gaming mode enabled but i think it bypasses it. I stop the scan, return to the game and after 5-10 minutes, the rootkit scan starts again. This doesn’t happen with other games. Is it a bug? I will disable protection until this is fixed.

If you have Norton installed on your system when installing Kaspersky you will get a popup telling you that incompatible software needs to be removed. Kaspersky installer tells you it will do it for you when you click the button to restart your computer. Just one problem - Norton doesn’t get completely uninstalled and Kaspersky installer re-prompts you every time the computer is restarted. I turned off the notification sound in the settings like this. But when kaspersky automatically blocks something, the ding sound still happens along with the notification.

When I use sites of google family (youtube, google drive, gmail, meets) the notification that google is using my webcam appears also if I am on a page that doesn't require it. Why does this happen?

Hi whenever I install kaspersky security cloud free my pc randomly freezing and nothing works unless I restart pc. But when I uninstall kaspersky everything works fine. I use Windows 7 64 bit. Does anyone have a solution?

I was using kaspersky security cloud and noticed that the email was put wrongly, so I created a new account. I set the region to indonesia (which is not available for any kaspersky product) I then sent a request but so far, no replies. Please change my region as soon as possible.

I recently plugged in a USB to reformat it. It had the windows set up files in it, but I set it up back on my old PC which no doubt has a lot of malware. Kaspersky did a quick scan as soon as I plugged it in and found nothing, though, it only scanned about 5 files instead of the 50+ that were in there. I've done a quick scan, 2x full scans and a background scan- nothing was found. AutoPlay is enabled on my computer. There were files on the USB and I reformated the USB not too long ago. Nothing weird happened after I plugged it in. Am I safe?

And it says: “If you are in the territory of the European Union (EU) and/or plan to use the software in the territory of the EU, then you must select the “The European Union” from the drop-down menu in order to download the software intended for use in the EU. Kaspersky blocks VPNs as well unless you use their own VPN. Luckily I'm on free and can uninstall and return to another AV since this issue has been plaguing users for years and they have NEVER made any changes to rectify the issue. In other words, using Kaspersky inherently makes trying to use a VPN, UNSAFE. Web Anti-Virus of Kaspersky Security Cloud gave me three notifications regarding a malicious link for the probability of unauthorized software download. They are all from the same web page, but different names. The first notification details say “Event: download denied; result description: blocked” while the other two say “Previously opened malicious link detected; result description: not processed”. What is the difference between “blocked” and “not processed”? Did Kaspersky not block the other two download attempts?

Acidentally i clicked a website with the red shield on it after a google search (didnt mean to click it) and promptly got 3 “access denied” notifications for a malicious link with the Reason: Cloud Protection all good until about 10 min later i get 7 (seven!) notifications from the same general URL (mostily .png and .svg acessets from the website) claiming “Previously opened dangerous link detected” with the Result: Not Processed I’ve ran several scans with several tools and all came back clean, and KSC did not quarentined any objects. I have been using Kaspersky Security Cloud Free for some time on my Windows 10 Pro laptop (Dell XPS 15) with no problems. I recently purchased a Sandisk Extreme 1TB external SSD. Read/write speeds were so slow it was unusable. Exchanged the SSD for a new one and had the same issue. Even tried a Crucial 1TB external SSD and had the same problem. To make a long story short after days of trying to resolve the issue I finally uninstalled Kaspersky Security Cloud Free and the SSDs worked perfectly with read/write speeds as expected. Hi, Today I installed Kaspersky Free Cloud on a second computer and each time I try to enter my email address and password it fails to activate - no access to my Kaspersky site is the error. If I look at the My.Kaspersky portal it is showing up with a red cross. I removed it from there and tried again but now it does not even add it to the portal. I have check proxy servers, internet access and even logged on to my.kaspersky from Edge - all is well with everything else and its a newish machine with no malware.

Hi, since I upgraded to Kaspersky Security Cloud my internet has virtually stopped working. The only way I can achieve anything is to turn it off. Running BT Speedtest, with Kaspersky turned off I am getting a ping of 44ms, download speed of 16.5 to 18.5 Mbps and upload speed of 0.8 to 0.9Mbps. When I turn on KSC, speed test returns 0 for all of these. I have made all the recommended changes to the configuration, no difference. To access this site and post this message, I have had to turn it off. I have paid a two year subscription and I feel I have wasted my money. Hello! I want to remove the Safe Website icon on the browser, but I’m unable to do so. I’ve already uninstalled the Kaspersky Browser extension. I want to remove the shields icon, but I still want to enable Web Anti-virus. Is there any want to hide the shields while it’s still working as it should? Just show the icon when it’s red or dangerous.
