hi running kaspersky cloud edition under w10 and w7 i have noticed that i can block and detect eicar when i click on the webstite eicar.com with firefox but not with chrome i’m using the last version of firefox and chrome in the notification , there is are you using firefox? are you using chrome? i haven’t installed kaspersky firefox extension or kaspersky chrome extension firefox without kaspersky extension work great and block the test eicar chrome does not detect it and download it is it normal ? thanks

I know this topic has been brought up before (and I’ve read those threads), but what’s the worst case scenario if MWB Premium has all real-time protection on while running KSC? Will they conflict at times and simply “fight over” certain types of protection, or is it possible that this combination will actually cause security vulnerabilities? I work online and MWB Premium has stopped me from visiting several websites (that I thought were secure), detected a few trojans, found some Adware and PUPs, etc. My concern is that if I turn off real-time protection, I might not be as safe since I’ve seen it stop so much. My KTS is about to expire and I’m going to upgrade to KSC. Will KSC auto-uninstall KTS or do I need to manually uninstall KTS first?

Kinda issue here while in installation process. Tried to install Kaspersky Security Cloud without knowing it got problem with Malwarebytes(i never know antivirus got any issue with it in the past). And in the process Kaspersky installer says it'll remove* the software(aka Malwarebytes). So i let it do it's job, choose to get rid of Malwarebytes via your installer. But just upon clicking "delete" it says "the software has been removed" or along the line, in a sec. But there I'm still seeing Malwarebytes. Welcome. After installation, the antivirus is still disabled as it has not been activated. Nowhere can I find out where to activate the freeware version of the program. Hi community, I saw that in my Kaspersky configuration I have the notice "The hardware virtualization is not available on this device”. Obviously, I have the HW virtualization enabled in my BIOS because I work with some features of this. I don't have installed the Windows Defender Application Guard, but I have installed the HyperV Platform and WSL2 on my OS. So the question. Some of these apps are not compatible with the Kaspersky Virtualization? If the question is No, Why my Kaspersky Virtualization doesn't work? and If the question is Yes. Can I do something to enable the virtualization feature without uninstalling anything of my software?

I’m on a Mac running Big Sur, latest update of Security Cloud. I cannot access the config page of my router at 192.168.1.1. I’m on a wired network on a different VLAN. If I turn off the Web Anti-virus, all is good. If I turn it on and try to hit the address, I get an instant “No Internet” page in Chrome. It’s not a firewall problem on the Mac or network. Where do I set the list of allowed addresses? I’ve tried the My Websites, the trusted computers set up.. nothing. The Mac version of Kaspersky seems very, very lacking.

Could someone advise why my Kaspersky security cloud free version updated my winrar version when the software updater option is only provided in premium. I’m not interested in Kaspersky downloading and patching other apps. I only need to be notified. Was trying to figure out what the problem was until last BSOD revealed it was kaspersky all along. After uninstalling Kaspersky Security Cloud all problems vanished. My System is Windows 10 My App is Kaspersky Security Cloud My Anti-Virus never detected this file until today. now everytime I restore it from quarantine, it will be put back in within seconds and I can’t start the game. It’s a server info file with the .dll extension. But Kaspersky apparently detects a trojan.. How do I stop it from scanning this specific file and putting it into quarantine?

Unfortunately, I’ve stumbled upon a weird issue which I describe below: I’ve set up a shortcut to my Internet Provider router box admin page. Prior to KSC installation, I just had to open a tab on Firefox and click the shortcut to reach the router admin page (in the form of https://myrouter.myisp.tld). Hello Windows 10 20H2 (19042.870) Security Cloud 21.3.10.391(a) I have just installed the free Security Cloud version and expected that windows defender will disable itself or at least some of its features that will be managed by Kaspersky. However, it looks like Defender keeps running fully which i’m not happy about because its probably waste of resources. Any idea why? Thanks !
