Kaspersky Password Manager

Due to a typing error I've entered wrongly the master password for instead the password manager ask to create a new master password. By the way KPM create a new vault and make a backup and block the last vault. Fortunately I've found the correct password but when I tried to import the encrypted vault but KPM says that cannot be imported because is from a older version and fail. Do you know a workaround or download a fully version of a older version?

Exactly as the title states. I want to export my saved usernames and passwords from KPM to LastPass. How do I do it?

I'm trying to import my passwords for Mcafee True Key to Kaspersky Password Manager. It seems that Kaspersky doesn't like the .csv file Mcafee created. Any solutions to this problem??? I have a lot of passwords... it would take a long time to enter them all by hand. Lol

Hi everybody, I am starting to use Kaspersky Password Manager, and I am pleasantly surprised that the Passwords can be classified in folders. But then, I wonder why it is not possible to create subfolders to make it even easier to classify ? I would like to have only 3~5 principal folders, each divided into subfolders. Thank you ! Donovan

Hello, I have the same problem, the extension works well with other browsers but with Chrome it does not work and yes I am sure to enter the correct password because I do the test in other browsers and in the same Windows application and enter without problems. Nachdem ich gestern eine Vielzahl von Accounts über die generierten Passwörter von Kaspersky Passwort Manager sichern wollte kann ich mich jetzt nirgendwo mehr einloggen da das Programm die neu generierten Passwörter nicht gespeichert hat. Gespeichert sind immer noch alte Passwörter wobei der Account natürlich nach dem neuen 12-stellingen generiertem Passwort fragt, obwohl ich nach dem generieren das neue in der App gespeichert habe. Kein einziger Account und kein einziges Passwort wurde aktualisiert. Wo liegt der Fehler hier?

Hello, lately my Microsoft Edge is working really slow in certain websites mostly in Hotmail.com which gets hard to even select multiple e-mails, since I recently got Kaspersky Password manager and the extension for it I assume iis because of that. Hi! KPM (9.0.0.44 for Mac) works with with Google Chrome Extension (4.1.15), except for localhost. I stored several login/password pairs for localhost (to expedite developing/testing) but everytime I open the URL in Chrome - KMP shows message that there are not saved credentials. Even if I select saved credentials in KPM and click open - same effect. Please help.

Running PM on my PC. Windows 10. Using Firefox with the extension. Updating all of my passwords, but the prompt to save does not come up every time I am logging in to a site despite the fact that it is set to automatically do so. Works occasionally?

Kaspersky password manager In addition to store passwords for websites we need to store other info related to the website. It could be username,mobile no, security questions, email addresses. so kaspersky should increase the size of comment window as well as the length of data stored in it.

Recently upgraded to Windows 10 and find that I need to re install Password Manager. Downloaded the installer and then it starts to install. It stops at 30s telling me I do not have enough privileges. Tried turning off my firewalls, disconnect my VPN, run as administrator even tried to run it in safe mode, Nothing helps. Any suggestions welcome.

I have added several applications that I have on my desktop computer, which requires a user name and password (as it links to a website). I can enter the user name and password, and try to direct the link to the application. However, I cannot find the application through the browser. Furthermore, if I was able to do that, would the "application" tab be able to open the application and enter the user name and password, directly from the Password Manager; or, is this section of Password Manager simply a "storage" program, not able to startup downloaded applications? Brave is a browser known for quite some time now and it is built on chromium i cannot understand why it hasnt been supoorted yet .

I have KIS on both mine and my wifes PC Windows 10 and Android Mobiles It is a 5 licence version. We both have KPW with different master signons and data. If our phones were both lost or stolen I could walk into an internet cafe and goto my.kaspersky and access my KPW manager but as far as I can see she wouldn't be able to as there doesn't seem to be the access for her to do that with KIS. It only allows for one KPW. Could anyone confirm I am correct in assuming this or is there a separate login page to KPW manager available that I am missing? If not is there any other way to access her KPW file? Many thanks in advance

The password manager has to be unlocked using my master pw every time I start KPM. How can I avoid this. Can I make it open automatically without having to unlock every time

I have KPM since it is out, in the first versions this field was alphanumeric, at least using the Android App; now it's numeric only. To have more security I was used to crypt both CVV and PIN of my credit cards into an alpha string. There is any way to paste or write characters into it?

I personally would like to see a PC or "device" category/template to capture PW logins for different PC's and devices. For PC's it would be great to capture specs via fields, on that PC - but not a deal breaker there. I'm an IT pro - saw a competitors product that has fields for ip etc, but they didn't have folders which, with 140+ passwords to manage, is why I finally moved from BlackBerry PW Keeper. How about the ability to create custom templates ?
