This morning I had to restart my PC to install an update for KIS. How do I find out what this update did? My PC is running Windows 10 and the current issue of KIS is 19.0.0.1088(e).

I have been using Kaspersky for years and my default browser is Microsoft Edge. As of yesterday, when Kaspersky Total Security is running, Microsoft Edge and Opera GX both fail to load web pages (ANY web pages), displaying either err_connection_reset or err_connection_aborted pages. The browser will actually cycle through the two pages (rest, then abort, then reset again, etc...) for a certain number of cycles, then it will just stop, but it will not load the web page. This occurs whether I have the extensions installed in the browser or not, and even whether Kaspersky Total Secutiy is active or not - pausing the app does not solve the problem. Win 10pro/64-1909; after installing NIS, I added to the firewall some apps new rules and everything was ok, the firewall allowing to make changes without any special user confirmation; I also added new trustworthy subgroups and related apps to be ruled, this operation also led without any problem. From yesterday I found that something has changed, when I try to apply a new rule to an app a pop up ask me for “user confirmation……….”; also, and this is really strange and worrying, the insertion of a new app is not allowed (NIS firewall opens the window to make the app (.exe) choice, but then nothing is added to the subgroup). After I installed KIS I got the message: Code integrity control is enabled in the operating system. Some application features are unavailable. I have tried contacting KAS Support, but still no response, I have also tried several solutions on the internet but to no avail. so this started a while ago my netflix and disney plus app wouldnt connect. i tried the usual efforts. they would connect through chrome though. then one day when i was trying to figure out what was going on i noticed that there was a microsoft edge error. So i opened edge and it wouldnt connect to any pages either. again thgought it was an edge issue typical efforts to fix issue. None of these resolve the issue. KIS 2019 is stopping me from accessing dnsleak.com and may be reponsible for slowing down my vpn as web pages take ages to load and sometimes(often) cutoff. In addition my BT email connection sometimes hangs and sometimes takes ages. web pages sometimes just hang but when I switch KIS off they work fine whether with my VPN or not.

Hello, as a Surface Go user, I got notifications that Host Process for Windows Services (PID: 3656) is using my webcam every time I logged in, because I use Windows Hello (face recognition) when logging in to my PC. But several days ago I started seeing that notification permanently on my screen (not disappearing after few seconds). I also tried to block that process’ access to my webcam via Kaspersky, but after restart probably a new process started running and my cam was again on. Hi, I have been using an OpenVPN client and use 2 or 3 browsers depending upon the context. Today, I wanted to log into my facebook account but the login page was different. The url seems legit, and upon further inspection using "inspect element" I found the following websites "https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/rsrc.php/v3/y......" which also seems legit facebook address used for "cross domain concerns" I have attached the respective image files for reference. Hi, i got an update for KIS 2020 yesterday. From version (d) to (e). I remember that i got a popup from KIS in the 2019 version to restart my computer after an update. I didnt get any for the update i mentioned above but the size was more than 10 MB (so i figured it had to be an version update, not just database update). After restarting it showed version (e). When i tried to start Firefox i got an Password-Manager Popup from Kaspersky (like they do occasionally every week or smth). But Firefox didnt really start.
