About halfway through this year, the phone block list function was changed. It became far less convenient to use. We have a lot of problems with malicious calls from criminals in my country and also telemarketers and the like. My mother was reliant on Kaspersky to keep everything blocked. She is old and likes to keep her smartphone stuff simple. Currently, you have to add the number you want to block to your contacts in order to avoid memorizing it and typing it out on the blacklist prompt? Why was it changed this way, and are there any plans to change the UI so that it’s not unduly inconvenient to add numbers to the blacklist again?

Firefox has disabled the Protection plugin for Firefox (6.0.3 64bit)..."one or more installed add-ons can not be verified and have been disabled - Kaspersky Protection could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled". Is this a known issue? Any fixes as I relied on the protection plugin in the past.

I need to add folders in "Manage Exclusions” with different scopes: In the first case, I need to exclude the files in the folder and all of its subfolders In the second case, I want to exclude only the files in the folder: I don't want to exclude the subfoldersI didn't find in the forum any clear explanation of how the wildcards work in KIS 20. Can anyone give me a clarification? Thanks in advance.

When I build and run my project while KIS is on, I get the message that the app can’t run because access is denied. Subsequent builds fail because file access to the output folder is denied. Kaspersky claims that it is a backdoor. How do I stop this? I’m just running tutorials from a book.

Hi, I am a Kaspersky Internet Security for Android user, few weeks ago I noticed that my modem’s wifi light is continously flickering(blinking) 24x7 without any interruption and whenever I turn-off the wifi of my mobile device, flickering stops. In an attempt to pirate windows, a coworker of mine has downloaded a fake windows activator from a website. he choose to disable KIS thinking the activator is genuine and install it. Now his computer behaving erratically. 1. Every now and then, the application is trying to connect to illegal websites triggering KIS Alarm. It appears from time to time. 2. Hi all, Kaspersky is blocking a feature called collections on Microsoft edge in my windows 11. I got the message "This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue." if I try to open that feature via shortcut (ctrl+shift+y) or via its address(edge://collections/) The above picture shows the behavior I mentioned. When I enable parental control for my daughter, youtube access is blocked by browser with HSTS error, even when I disable any internet/web browsing control for her. https://www.seamonkey-browser.org/ works w/o problems, but not youtube. Hello, For a couple of months iTunes accepts to move my iTunes Media folder, but it goes back to its previous location every time I reopen the app. I tried to delete the old one but it is automatically recreated when I reopen the app. I phoned Apple who passed the buck to a third party application so I was just wondering if Kaspersky could be the culprit. Can somebody help me. When I search on google, kaspersky automatically blocks a download. Does my computer have a trojan? I run a full scan and detected a problem, it couldn't disinfect the virus (it was in the cache of edge) So I cleared the cache, cleared the reports, and reboot my computer. The KIS software updater tells me that my Foxit version is out of date: that I have 9.1.0 and should have 9.2.0. In fact I have version 9.7.0.29455. Why does KIS not have up-to-date version numbers?

I have been using Safe Money to open bank websites for years and it has always worked well. Today when I try to open any bank website in the Protected Browser I get a message saying "Run error: Failed to run Protected Browser. Reason: Process was stopped." I have had my bank attached to the safe money browser for a long time but suddenly I am getting a message that my Self Defence is disabled. When I go through all the setting my self defence is on and the link to the bank account it there enabled . I did read to go in and change the self defence to enable - it was already so unticked the box and got a confirmation request . When I ticked the enable box again to enable I didn't get a confirmation request. It all says it is on but still won't work when I go in to my bank. Also when you configure the firewall so that it always blocks or allows a certain program? And yet Kaspersky ignores everything and always pesters you about it nonstop? It’s very annoying. Dear Kaspersky Community, The question that has popped up in my head just recently is directly related to phishing email/website. I had (in a stupid moment) opened a suspicious e-mail (seemingly a phishing email) with a link to a website, which I stupidly clicked on. I was then redirected to a website, which is luckily blocked by Kaspersky because it was recorded in the Kaspersky’s phishing database. My question is, what happened with my personal data after this. I am running a MS-Windows 10 BYOD laptop in a corporate environment. The company uses PAC (proxy auto-config) configuration and requires each user to login into the proxy for network access (same credentials as domain login). So the network proxy is not transparent. Kaspersky Internet Security (home version) is constantly prompting me to login in. I have a windows 10 pc with good specs like i5 8th processor, 16 gb ram etc and good internet broadband connection of speed 50 mbps. I have recently purchased KIS subscription. But when I keep features like Web-antivirus or Private browsing or Anti-banner ON, webpages on firefox and Chrome either take many minutes to load or don't load at all. So I am not able to browse keeping these KIS features ON. I even tried keeping Web-antivirus security to low but it was to no avail. All 3 features have to be kept OFF in order to browse conveniently. But then, I am getting no internet protection at all. What should I do?

Can anyone help? I keep getting a message that a file in my Microsoft OneDrive temp folder on my computer has a file infected with uds:trojan.win32.snojan. It is deleted by Kaspesrsky Internet Security 2019. But after a while it is resynced by OneDrive and the problem repeats itself. I have scanned my OneDrive folder for any malware but nothing is found. Is this a false positive? Thank you.

Every time when I am sending an email I get this Kaspersky Internet Security Reason message “This certificate or the certificate chain is built on an untrusted root center”. I must click the continue button on this warning window and the next window for me to confirm this action before my email will be send. I only get this warning messages in KIS. Application version is: 20.0.14.1085 (m) I am using MS Outlook Pro Plus 2019. Where can I change the setting to stop getting this warning messages when sending emails? Thanks

Windows 11 Version: 22H2 (OS Build 22621,1555) KIS Application: 21.3.10.391 Safe money is not operating in Firefox,Chrome,Edge. I get a "Run Error Message as pictured. Even if I go through KIS Safe Money App it is the same. Also, I keep getting the popup to "Activate Kaspersky Extension". The extension is active, but popup persists. Any help would be appreciated.
