Hi, i installed the beta of firefox 74. After that i installed kis 2020 but then i am missing the kaspersky protection add on which was installed automatical with firefox 73. Is kaspersky protection not working with firefox anymore? why is it not installed by default?

Hi, I have an IP-Cam in my private network and the video is to be displayed in a Browser (using Firefox, but checked also with others). The issue is, as long as Web-Antivir is ON, the video keeps black. Nothing on the screen. When Web-AV is switched off, the video is displayed as expected. What I have tried already - no success so far: exclusion in Web-AV, used http://<privateIP>/* (yes, it’s http, port 80) disabled all features in Web-AV checked Firewall, private network OK and trusted (otherwise I wouldn’be be able to call the IP) As far as I know the Video is pluged-in via Flash into Browser. Dear all, My family bought 4 licenses in France for Kaspersky Internet Security. I’m currently in Canada and can’t activate the license, as it say “This activation code is intended for a different region. Please try another region code”. Hi, For about 3 months now I’m no longer able to skip ads on Youtube. The skip button doesn’t overlay anymore on the video. So for my only workaround is to wait 4 seconds and then refresh the page. It’s extremely annoying and today I’ve finally gotten around to investigating the root causes. It seems to be due to the newer version of the Kaspersky Chrome extension. If I disable it, I’m able to finally skip Youtube ads again. Like others on this forum, I too find that frequently MSRT fails to install / update during the monthly Windows 10 Updates routine. The updated version of MSRT is offered but the install returns a (meaningless) error code. I find that if I retry (several times) sometimes, a successful install is achieved. I’ve even had to resort to downloading the software manually from Microsoft’s and installing. As I’m using KIS 20.0.14.1085(h) does this give me any / sufficient protection from Malicious Software? Is KIS + MSRT a bad combination to the point that KIS can actually disable the install of MSRT? Does KIS + MSRT give False Positives?

Hi there, I installed Kaspersky from the official site a few days ago. When I looked at the digital signature, it was signed with a certificate under the name Kaspersky Lab JSC. I am a little confused because the old certificates only said Kaspersky Lab. What does JSC mean and is the certificate secure? Best regards

I am unable to use hardware virtualization in KIS 2020 v.20.0.14.1085g because: “Incompatible hardware or software detected.” I would like to know what incompatible hardware or software was detected? ----- Please don’t reply by saying “Have you checked for this? Have you checked for that?” I should not have to spend time checking for this or that. KIS 2020 obviously knows what incompatible hardware or software was detected, because KIS detected it. So how do I find out what KIS 2020 detected - is it in some log?

Hi, I have problem with my Kaspersky Internet Security. If i want to instal new database update or if i want to log in my Kaspersky account the application show me Error message with text (Picture1): “ Connection problem: Connection to My Kaspersky isnt available. Try it again later.” I rly dont know what should i do. Similar problem is in Database and application module update. Hi, I want to ask you if still can not use VM because kaspersky use HW virtualization… In past i ran VM and in kaspersky was disabled this. I want to know if now it is fixed - use for kaspersky hw virtualization and for VM also in same time without problem.. Or still there is a problem?

I have a little question, I bought few days ago the KIS for windows and KIS for android and I entered the two keys into my kaspersky account, when these keys will expire, will disappeared from “my licenses” on my kaspersky completely or will they look like expired ?? And if they still look like expired can I manualy removed them, because there is no such an option from what I looked ?? Thanks in advance and sorry for my english !!

My license is still active having 265 days before expiring date…. So, why there’s a red square with a RENEWAL asking write, on the top right of my 2019 KIS? (I’m still on v. 2019 cause I have a lot of settings for firewall, and I’m not so sure that I will be able to transfer them inside new 2020….) Win 10/64, added new activation serial (third of a three pcs 1 year license) just 1 month ago.

I use Raisonance RIDE for compiler embedded C code for STM32 microcontrollers. With Kaspersky running (version 20.0.14.1085 g), RIDE will no longer compile or link any code. Also, I cannot save any file changes. If I temporarily pause protection, RIDE works fine. I’ve tried adding exclusions and disabling certain protection individually (file, web, system, etc) but cannot find any combination that works other than pausing the whole Kaspersky protection. Something has obviously recently changed as this application (RIDE) used to work fine.

Hello, For a couple of months iTunes accepts to move my iTunes Media folder, but it goes back to its previous location every time I reopen the app. I tried to delete the old one but it is automatically recreated when I reopen the app. I phoned Apple who passed the buck to a third party application so I was just wondering if Kaspersky could be the culprit. Hello. Each time I open chrome or firefox in win 10 there is this annoying notification by kaspersky about installing chrome/firefox extension. “Using Google Chrome? Install Kaspersky Protection extension to increase your level of protection while online”. Its very annoying. I tried to disable it in kaspersky setting and from win10 notification center but it keeps coming back. I am using my computer to work and this notifications really bother my workflow. I don’t want to install this extension. Please fix as soon as possible otherwise I will switch to other firewalls and disable my subscription. I don’t want a firewall that keeps spamming my noti…

Hello everyone. Yesterday I had at 23:54 in my KIS 20.0.14.85 an update of the database of 6.42 Mb. However, the new patch released recently did not appear (according to the images I show). I find it strange that such a big update would not lead to the new H patch, so I asked this question here in the Kaspersky community. I'm grateful for any possible clarification.
