Kaspersky Internet Security

As long as I restart the PC this pops up and after a few cycles of disinfection it still remains. I havent installed any add ons recently but this was reported throughout my PCs and laptops. Can someone please let me know if this is a false alarm so I can add to exclusion list? Thanks

In my data drive, which is always included in my full scans, I have some symbolic directory links that link to a network drive. Kaspersky Internet Security is following those links and ends up scanning huge chunks of my network drive, which I don't want to do, at least not in this particular scan. Is there any way to set the scan options so that it does not follow the symbolic links and scan their destinations? System configuration is KIS 21.3.10.391, Windows 10 w/all updates, Dell Precision 7920 workstation. Thank you!

Hello, I recently upgraded from Kaspersky free to Kaspersky Internet Security to find the dark mode not in the same place. I cannot seem to find it and cannot read light mode very well due to an eye condition. Surely there is one on there as it makes ZERO sense to have a free product include more accessibility features then a paid one. May as well ask this too, is there a way to change the text scale?

Hi, Everytime I start/restart my laptop or at random times I am getting a popup with the title Kaspersky VPN , the message is Error connecting to My Kaspersky. Check your internet connection settings. This seems to be happening from last week. I am on Windows 11. I used to have google chrome extension for VPN. If minimize notepad or outlook window or i dont have mared window for example i click on desktop or on kaspersky without minimize notepad window then kaspersy will continue. The following programs/app doesn't work: Microsoft Store App, Xbox App and the launchers of Epic Store, GOG Galaxy and Genshin Impact. They don't the login or connect with the server. I've been experiencing this problem on Win7 x64 SP1 for a few weeks and I just discovered that it's caused by KIS 21.3.10.391 Every time I reboot, 5-10 secs after desktop appears, Windows becomes dead for 40 seconds. It does not respond to any keyboard or mouse commands. I can still move the mouse around and see taskbar respond to mouse position but none of the apps work. I know there was a similar problem few months ago and looks like it's solved. But I noticed the problem right now, after the 08/08/2022 database update. The problem is the same as before: Asus AI Suite 3 (and other asus services) can't load and only works again if Kaspersky Internet Security [version 21.3.10.391 (h)] is uninstalled or with an old database, when I reinstall KIS it have the 28/07/2022 database and the software works without problems, until I update KIS. Hello, so i recently bought a license of internet security from an online dealer, the key worked fine but when i checked the license details in my kaspersky website, its showing kaspersky internet security 2021, so is my current solution which i downloaded after entering the key in site is of 2021 edition? so am i using an old edition? is there 2022 edition? or key doesnt affect these stuff? any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I have 2 identical Win 10 PCs. One suddenly has a lot of popups after kaspersky warned about a site. Nothing was clicked on and just went back. I'm told this is when the popups started, I checked the extensions and Kaspersky is enabled. However I noticed the Icon on the top right of the browser isn't there like it is on my other PC. This is where I can see if the add blocker is checked or not. Any idea of whats going on?

I have been using Kaspersky products for many years. My KIS license expires in a few days and I want to renew it. Click on the link and it takes me to the page where the price is 69.95 euros for a license for 3 devices for 1 year (I always buy them for 2 years). There is no option to renew for 2 years. But if I access that same page and want to buy a new license for KIS, 3 devices for 1 year, the price is 29.99 euros. Could you tell me why there is this difference and why it is more expensive to renew the license than to buy a new license?

KIS is now giving me warning pop-ups for Brave browser installer and SyncFolder application. This is in addition to the ones reported in the thread "Microsoft O365 is ruled as a Dangerous website......." I have lost count - I think it's 5 or 6 now. Every new download is put into Low Restricted for some reason. It's becoming more and more difficult to work with KIS installed and interfering unneccessarily. It's high time the moderators took better notice of this problem. N.B. Updated to 21.3.10.391 (j) this week but made no difference.

Is there a way of making VPN turned on as default when computer turns on? It is a pain to have to set it everytime especially because it takes several clicks to get to the VPN setting. don't know why it was hidden there. Also it would be nice to have an icon indicating if it is on or not.
