Hello together, I just reinstalled my system with Windows 10 and wanted to install Open Office which I downloaded from the official website. When extracting it KIS reports the following in the setup.exe “PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic” and wants to do a rollback. Now the question is is this file really dangerous or a false positive that can be ignored? My system is running on Windows 10 latest build with KIS 21.3.10.391 (g). Is there a way setting the firewall so that it always asks permission when a program wants to enter the internet for the first time? So I can allow or, most important, deny connection and then automatically sets a rule for that program?

So here’s a weird issue im having. Today I got on my computer and steam store in the steam client (desktop mode) wont load without a error connection message. In fact I cannot connect to my friends list without an error. Here’s the odd part. On my browser (Firefox) I can succesfully connect to the store page. Furthermore on the steam client if I go on to Big Picture Mode, I can browse the steam store and my friends list without a problem. When I tried to purchase something on an online store via paypal, it will open a new protected browser page (green box one) to do the transaction in paypal account but after that it will not return to previous checkout page or finalization page of the merchant site. Yet, my bank will send me a massage that a payment is done in paypal immediately. However, there is no transaction record on paypal or order placed in merchant site. When i want to add premission in anti theft settings (camera premission) kaspersky keep locking my phone (must unlock via code) Green background and this is under kaspersky protection... As you can see from the screen shot below I am being instructed to press a VALIDATION BUTTON which is clearly missing! Also I am not offered the option to buy the product without agreeing to auto-renew which is why the validation button is needed by paypal. Every year the renewal process becomes needlessly more difficult. In 29 days my subscription runs out. In 28 days I will buy another anti virus product if you have not fixed this problem.

I use a Virtual Table Top (VTT) to play board games and roleplaying games virtually called Fantasy Grounds Unity. I haven’t had any problems previously but now it has been preventing any sharing of data making it unusable. I was able to make an exception of the file and that seemed to stop the attack warnings but it didn’t allow any data through. I’m not very computer literate, but I can follow instructions. I’m not sure what to do and am hoping someone can walk me through a solution.

Other than submitting suggestions and bug reports etc, like is there a way I can personally improve Kaspersky’s detection rate overall for everyone? I tired to change my sim card and then Kaspersky security automatically asked me my secret code unfortunately I did not remember my code . I tried to recover my code but what I did was I disconnected my phone from Kaspersky and I thought I was good idea to discount my device from Kaspersky but know I cant access my phone. any suggestions thanks

KIS 21.3.10.39(h) Windows 10 build 19043.1526 I have an old test/sandbox PC that is about to undergo changes. I would like to be sure KIS is still validly licensed thought the process. I am going to change the device name in Windows. Do I need to uninstall KIS and reinstall it after the change? My.Kaspersky Devices know the old name. do I need to disconnect the device before making the name change? A few days after the name change I am going to replace the PC’s motherboard and CPU. This effectively makes it a new computer. I’m sure I need to uninstall KIS before the change and resinstall it after. Is there anything else I need to do?

Hello, Today i tried to connect my computer to an SQL server on xampp, as usual. But impossible to establish the connection. After a few searches, I found that Kaspersky is blocking the connection with a self defense option. I tried to remove that but I figured out that I can’t edit anything from the settings. Im in admin account on Windows, and Kaspersky was already installed on it when I got it from work. I don’t have the email account, neither as the password. How can I edit theese settings please ?

I’ve tried to participate on a open conversation dedicated on this same question, regarding the circumstance in continue to use genuine Windows 7 series after 2021. Nobody seems to answer back there so I decided to ask again now two years after that thread was made. I’m curious since this thread still open. My question concerns the colored shields used to designate the safety of a website. There are supposed to be 4 colors: green for safe, grey for no info, gold for harmful and red for dangerous. I am only seeing grey shields. I have tried different browsers...chrome, edge and explorer...with the same result. Does this have anything to do with sanctions placed on Russian companies because of the war in Ukraine?

After I installed KIS I got the message: Code integrity control is enabled in the operating system. Some application features are unavailable. I have tried contacting KAS Support, but still no response, I have also tried several solutions on the internet but to no avail. Every time I open my PC, this message always shows up, I'm very annoyed. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you 😀
