Hello, I was checking my Adguard Home Traffic, and then find out a weird domain called “fun-cc,azurewebsites,net” was trying to connect to the internet from my computer IP. I have blocked the domain, but I still couldn't figure out which software/applications were trying to connect to this domain. I believe it's malware. So with Kaspersky is there any way to check (probably with network monitor or application manager), which application is trying to connect with this specific domain? I am using Kaspersky Version: 21.3.10.391 (g) Windows 11 (Up to Date)

Resolved in this topic 9 month ago: Link the option to permanently disable the login pop up is not available anymore for Kaspersky Internet Security 2022. How do I disable the pop up fully? I only want to do its job, not login or have an account or anything. I have disabled all notification or marketing options in the settings. Thanks for any help :)

Hi there guys. I was hoping that you could answer a couple of (possibly daft) questions for me please. I'm running Windows 10, and Kaspersky Internet security. I'm also getting into a lot of retro computing and emulation ATM. As a result, I've downloaded a lot of older software that I'd like to run in emulation. Questions: Does Kaspersky protect from Malware from - 1. Other OS's / platforms ? (E.G. Mac / or Older versions of Windows / DOS ?) 2. From Amiga OS (M68k) software 3. From Linux malware ? 4. KIS destroys a file when I send it to myself as an email attachment. It is a file that I wrote myself and it does not contain threats, as verified when I test it with KIS. With KIS protection off, I try to send the file to myself from OneDrive with MS Outlook -- sending to an address that is an alias of my Gmail address. The email never shows up in the Gmail inbox whether KIS protection is on or off. The email with attached file remains in the Sent mail folder of Outlook. It stays in the Sent folder of Outlook until I turn KIS protection back on and select it. Then KIS destroys the attachment. On the other hand, the file is not destroyedwhen I select the email in Outlook'…

I see that a lot of people are, like me, annoyed by this default-by-design feature, to not be able to disable this popup without disabling the actual security feature. Since there are lots of people annoyed by it, I hope that you actually listen to your product customers and offer a choice for users to disable the popup only, I see more than a year ago queries about it. If you won’t do that, you could at least make the popup be at the left of the input, being below it most of the times blocks some text, which even for a short period of time, is annoying.

Hello everyone Actually i had reinstalled windows on my laptop by bootable pen drive because after i had installed Kaspersky on the machine the windows logo from the boot screen and even after uninstalling the software and reinstalling the windows via pen drive(mentioning that .ISO file was totally virus free) the windows logo is not seen now at the boot screen. No GUI Boot is disabled from system configuration. Please help with the same Regards & Thanks Uday

Greetings, I am on a MacBook Pro, running MAC OS Monterey 12.2.1, with Apple M1 Pro chip. I just can't connect to any websites when running KIS 21.1 with NordVPN 7.3. Is there any conflict on this two apps running together? It is weird to have to turn off a antivirus to access my VPN service, or kill the VPN to keep my virus protection active. Any assistance you can gave me?

So I tried to open and connect my Epic Games Launcher but it didn’t work, was in a connect loop or didn’t even wanted to connect. So then I tried to deinstall/reinstall and try so many things I found online like make exceptions in firewall, create ini files, modem reset, etc. until I closed Kaspersky Internet Security and then everything worked. I could login and connect and redownload my games. But the moment I opened Kaspersky it lost the connection and nothing worked again. I tried to put the exe as trusted network exception. Since March 6th the data bank daily searched for updates, everytime now when I turn on my PC and click open KIS 21.3.10.391(h), I receive some add from Kaspersky logo to rate the antivirus app. But here is the thing I always turn on my machine offline and after a while that advertise or rate window get closed, and I can’t bring that up. It has been annoying me since everytime I restart my PC to get this over with, that add just won’t stay up for too long. Is there someway to turn off this add? I mean should an antivirus application use advertisements of this kind hidden in the application? I can’t remember this happening in the past since KIS 18.

Windows 10 Pro....If I try to save a web page by using "Save as PDF", in the preview not all but most of the images show up as blank spaces where the image should be. If I pause Kaspersky protection for a minute and resave the web page then all of the images show up. Is Kaspersky blocking because some viruses can be embedded in an image? I don't want to have to pause Kaspersky every time I want to save a web page to PDF. What do I need to do or add in 'Settings' to stop Kaspersky from blocking these images?

Hi I share a folder with a second PC. When I pause KIS, the share fails. When I resume KIS, the share is restored. Why? And, how do I allow the share even if KIS is paused? Thanks

I have recently been unable to download metadata using the Calibre Portable program. Attempts to download result in an error from the metadata search site with the remote host forcibly closing the connection. If I install a previous version of the Calibre Portable program and pause Kaspersky protection then the metadata download is successful. When I resume protection the metadata download fails. Somehow this is failure is persistent. a. If I pause Kaspersky again and attempt the metadata download the metadata down load fails. b. I'm using KIS 21.3.10.391(1) on a Win10 (21H2) computer. I'm getting a very regular (several times a minute) "Access Denied" message on Brave relating to a "static.newrelc.net". I've no idea what this is - but I'm certainly not trying to access a site with this name. Can anybody tell me what is going on here? How do I stop this message appearing? TIA. John.

Good evening. For quite a while I've been having a problem with my Surfshark VPN. Surfshark VPN while being connected still leaked the real IP. This could happen any time. Surfshark support requested the diagnostic from my phone and discovered that the issue was caused by Kaspersky antivirus. I decided to turn off the antivirus and then the VPN started working without any problem since then. Surfshark support adviced to add their VPN app to the Kaspersky app exception. However, unfortunately, Kaspersky doesn't have this option in the mobile app. Could add this feature, please. Thanks.
