A few days ago I was notified by KIS that there was an important update for iTunes. I duly downloaded it and then checked with iTunes that I now had the up-to-date version. It confirmed this. Today it gave me a warning that the same update needed to be downloaded. I duly complied thinking that might cure the “glitch” However it said update failed which makes a strange kind of sense as there is in fact no update to be loaded. However the warning will not go away. I even logged out and rebooted but this made no difference Is there any way to remove this particular warning. I have setup 2 IMAP email in outlook. 1 is gmail and another is my company email. The gmail is able to send and receive. My company email is able to send but not receive. After unchecking IMAP scan as below, I am able to receive emails. But I am afraid my mail will be at risk without scanning. Is there a remedy to this? Hello! I was inspecting “Kaspersky Protection” connections through Firefox: about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox. I read somewhere that the extension only worked locally, but it was requesting some connections with what seems to be kaspersky labs server through a non encrypted connection (HTTP protocol). If i’m right, it would be exposing all sites you visit. As example: i accessed 3 sites: google.com; facebook.com and malwaretips.com

Hello I already have the patch (j) on KIS 20.0.14.1085, but I noticed that it is not yet including Microsoft Edge in the Privacy Cleaner. Is this by design (although Chredge is now supported) or is there an intention to add these new features in the future? Greetings

Kaspersky frequently pops up an ad for Kaspersky VPN or Kaspersky password manager, on my windows 10 machine. (I have a password manager and I am using a vpn). This sort of intrusion is what I use anti-virus/malware software to prevent. It is obnoxious that my ant-virus software is spamming me on my own computer. How can I get this to stop?

Hi, I have KIS and W10 Pro, and am a developer in VB.NET (VS2017/VS2019). In one program there are calls to any of the default apps (i.e. Acrobat Reader for *.pdf, Excel for *.xls* and so on), outside of my program. The calls are issued by “Process” command that essentially make a call to the default app for the extension. Everything was smooth up to approx 1 week ago: from that moment the calls have become *extremely* slow. On an i7 machine I am talking of approx 2-3 secs compared with maybe 0.2-0.3 secs before. It only comes to those using Kaspersky, and I have not found any other malware/phishing tool considering the page to be harmful in any way. My PC has 2 additional drives and when I have a scan scheduled to run, Kaspersky scans all three drives (B: C: and D:) which takes several hours. Is there a way I can have a scheduled scan only check the drives/folders that I choose to scan? Thanks

On my Kaspersky Mobile Internet security I activated the Apps Lock function for Samsung Notes App. Within Samsung Notes I have some lock notes. Whenever the Apps lock is activated for Samsung Notes, I try to open the Samsung Notes and it will ask for pin as unlock of the Samsung Notes Apps. But in Samsung Notes I have individual notes also lock by pin. Once I try to open individual notes Kaspersky will ask for pin again and after successful key-in it will ask again the unlock pin. Hi, Macbook Pro - Catalina 10.15.5 KIS - 20.0.0.829b Recently installed KIS onto the mac as a client needed extra security for me to access their servers etc. After install, every morning when the mac is woken I have no internet connection. I cannot connect to teams or outlook, and neither chrome nor firefox connect, saying google does not have correct security. If I restart the mac, it is fine the rest of the day. Only when starting every morning does this happen. I’ve checked the system reqs that are posted up when questions are asked, I’ve checked compatibility with other apps etc. Thanks

How to remove licence in KIS 2020? There in no button to remove.

I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security (with “automatic renewal” turned off) since about 2014, and I have a My Kaspersky account. My KIS for Windows 7 expires this week. From the Kaspersky website I bought KIS 2020 for 2 PCs for 2 years. I got an activation code and downloaded startup.exe (2.8 Mb file). I also got an email from Kaspersky sending me to a page where I can create a Kaspersky account (presumably a My Kaspersky account, but it doesn’t say so). When logging in to these forums today, I found that the “new” community/forum system run by Algolia and it’s further integration with Kaspersky Company accounts has a number of problems with “ad blocking” browser plugins, some of these related to the use of Google ReCaptcha on the login page. Basically, any attempt to whitelist the cacaphony of javascript domains loaded by the login page causes the login page to error out, requiring the user to go back to the community front page and click the login link again.
