Recentely about 3 days Ago, I haver moved to a new PC with new HD storage and operating system. So on the First day after installing ALL drivers, MS updates. I logged to My Kaspersky account to unlink My previous computer access and register the currente one and start downloading KIS app. So the installation went normal, I've managed to primary make Kaspersky Internet Security as main provider app to secure the computer. I have disabled most of Microsoft Defender settings and yet on Windows Security Control panel. The notifications accuse wrong. Hi Everyone I'm currently facing a frustrating issue where my Microsoft Edge browser is being blocked by Kaspersky Internet Security. I am facing a problem activating the license, which is supposed to be for four devices, but when I add it to the third device, the program refuses to activate, leaving only two devices connected to the same license.

Have had Kaspersky Internet Security for 4 years without issues. Today Notification Center says "Databases are extremely out of date". They are set to update automatically. If I click Update, it attempts to update but the message does not change. The Database Update screen says "Last Update: Less than a minute ago." Windows also displays an alert that my Kaspersky security is out of date. Running Windows 11 Pro (updated Feb 2025) on HP Spectre x360 laptop.

Having trouble removing KIS. First I used Windows to uninstall KIS,VPN, etc. When the Windows uninstall finished, KIS remained listed in my apps list, though the remnant takes up 0 space. If I click Uninstall, I get an error saying the app is not installed. So I used Kaspersky removal tool, selecting KIS 2015, the latest KIS listed. The tool looked like it was working (progress bar) but when it was finished, and I restarted, the remnant remains on my PC laptop. How do I get that remnant removed? I'm installing under protest. I've been a happy United States user for 15 years.

I have been using KIS for a decade, maybe more, but I strongly disliked to be forced out of KIS2018 last year. Newer version is slow, over-bloated, filled with irremovable telemetry, unwanted intrusion in my browser and other apps. All I use in KIS is the intrusion prevention module, I disable everything else because it never finds anything and is just slowing down the PC for no reason. My logs have never shown any blocked intrusion by the way, does this mean I can safely uninstall KIS of do the logs not show blocked intrusion attempts?

Hello everyone, I am facing a severe issue with Kaspersky's Firewall where it completely blocks or heavily throttles local P2P connections and low-latency local game streaming. Apps like Sunshine/Moonlight (local game streaming), Hamachi, and Radmin VPN (LAN emulators) cannot function properly. I have been using kasperky internet security since 2009 on different operating systems. But to my surprise recently i have been observing Kaspersky is freezing my mac and draining out battery and also could not block adds on different websites. KIS 2019 patch e windows 10 64 bit. KIS is working fine. Steam is working fine except for the workshop no longer downloading mods from the workshop. This worked in the past. Steam support claims no problem on their end. Has anyone ever had a setting in KIS stop Steam Workshop downloads? Again the non workshop part of steam works fine and KIS is working fine.
