Kaspersky Internet Security

When I opened the safe keyboard option. My keyboard would be disable for input when I am not opening any of the bank or password required software. Many users will just disable this option to avoid this situation. However. this should be a feature of Kaspersky instead of a bug. Is there any option/release-post I missed for this issue?

After every patch upgrades (like a,b,c,d,e,f), anti banner filters turn off automatically. Though not immediately after restart, it happens after a day. To solve this, I have to again turn on the banner filters one by one, or, reset the settings to default. Application version :- 21.3.10.391(f) Windows 10 21h1 version. Is this a known issue ?

I don’t generally add passwords to my home computer, but I had to download a zip file of my medical records from the hospital and its requiring a password to extract and save, I’ve tried all the passwords that I generally use on this PC, but no success. I guess my first question would be, did Kaspersky automatically install a password? I tried my Kaspersky password also. I also checked with the hospital to see if they put a password on it. My second question would be, I see plenty of online assist hits concerning this but they all, (so far), require a download of an encryption program, That alone seems risky. Hello. There are several parts (e.g. Reports) of the UI were you can only expand lists via clicking on the tiny arrow on the left side. Curiously there are other parts where double-clicking does work (e.g. select folder in Selective Scan). Please make this UI experience consistent and allow double-clicks to expand lists everywhere. Sometimes support asks customers to run GetSystemInfo even for easy questions (like why does AVP.exe connect to site xy). I noticed that this is done via an unencrypted zip over an unencrypted e-mail exchange. Is there no encrypted channel to upload this sensitive data? Among other things the zip includes the name of my computer, Firefox computer name, all IPv6 addresses of my computer (ipconfig) and KIS settings (what is enabled/disabled). It also includes information about what bank offered me how much money over what periods of time. This is my third post this week about KIS problems. Yesterday I logged into this Community with no problem. Today it said my password was wrong and I had to reset it. Is this some auto-feature introduced to force new passwords? Or is there some other reason ?

I have installed İnternet Security on two MacBooks - first one doesn’t scan. second one just shows “Starting...” and doesn’t go anywhere. I want to make sure the entire program is removed - is there a Utility/Tool to do this? I posted 2 support tickets - July 9th and July 13th.. and have not received any response from tech support. I’ve done my searching and don’t see anything similar. Therefore I opened a support ticket so in the interim I’ll pass this on just in case… I’m running KIS 2020 - 20.0.14.1085 (l) on W7-SP1 pro with FF 79.0 and the Kaspersky 2020 FF extension. As of yesterday, Safe Money (SM) will try to stop its secure connection process for ALL defined SM sites - looks like a certificate problem if I push it far enough. I re-installed the FF extension, rebooted, but no go. I get to the target site(s) (with connection encrypted) OK if I don’t invoke SM. Has anybody experienced this? Merci bien - JohnB

In the 30 day trial of this software and do not find it user friendly. Unable to delete or quarantine - only option is to SKIP. Delete button is greyed out . Any ideas?

Have tried many times to get Kasperski extension for Safari to enable - won’t. No problem with Chrome or Firefox extensions.

hi, I have a network Brother MFC-L5750DW printer. i can use it as a printer - perfectly. i can also connect to the printer using my web browser entering the printer IP (192.168.1.100) how ever, every time i want to scan i get a message that the device is not available. also when i try from the device directly, it replays that he cannot find the computer. i tried reinstall all software, driver and update firmware. i believe that KIS is blocking it but i cannot find what to do. can you pls assist me.

Hi, I had to uninstall Kaspersky internet security, however I notice that for any secure site I visit in Firefox (https) it is still being intercepted by Kaspersky servers, how do I stop that?

I have just installed a new router and have 2 issues. The first being the browser protection which was resolved as Kaspersky sent a link with the alert. However Kaspersky is not updating since I turned the new router on. How can this be resolved please? Cheers LadyBeetle

I have registered My Kaspersky account. Through two months I tried to sign in to this, but couldn’t. I didn’t remember my password for 100%, and I decided that I can’t to sign in to my account because password that I enter is wrong. I used ‘Forgot password’ function and created new password. Through one month since this I the same tried to sing in to my account, but the same couldn’t. I think that if you rarely use your My Kaspersky account, system forgets your password. When I want to test Kaspersky internet security will it ask for my e-mail address or phone number? When I buy a license in an offline shop will it ask for an e-mail address then? I was using AVG but now it wants my name and E-Mail address ones I wanted to renew my license using a license key I bought in offline store. I do not want to do that and would like to test Kaspersky as a possible alternative but will it also need these info in order be tested?

Hello, There is a question in my mind which stuck. As you see in attachments, in Kaspersky’s “browser configuration” part, it writes “helps securely configure Internet explorer”. and in “pc cleaner” part, it writes “helps you delete unnecessary applications and inside of it, it says “detect applications and browser extensions that were installed or modified by mistake or without your knowledge.We will help you delete or fix them in order to protect your data”. In browser configuration part ,does Kaspersky only detect in IE or in all browsers? if it detects only in IE, then does this mean that pc cleaner just works for IE? My mind got little confused about this subject.…
