Hello, after recently upgrading to KIS 2020 and to the mentioned version, I now have issues with the Flash player Plugin in chrome and in Firefox. For example when I try to access: Dazn.com and try to login, the page keeps on jumping between the signin and the home page, because the Flash player plugin keeps gets blocked, although it is set to be allowed in chrome and firefox. This problem seems to only occur on this version, because on a Laptop running KIS 2019 I can access the site normaly. It also works perfectly fine on my desktop pc (that runs the mentioned version) as soon as I disable KIS. So this seems to be an issue with this version specifically. I hope …

Hi folks I have the following question: On my desktop I have KIS 2020 (20.0.14.1085). Recently came the patch d. What I found strange was that this update did not prompt me to restart my pc, nor on the reliability monitor is there any indication for a reconfiguration or update of the application or any other component. I would be grateful for any clarification if possible. Greetings John

I tried to remove Kaspersky from my android Samsung phone and it keeps locking up the screen and turning off the phone. I have to restart the phone and enter the password. This has happened 15 times. What do I do? I don't want to clear the phone because of all my info.

Does KIS 2019 v 19.0.0.1088(i) give full protection against Ransomware via the System Watcher? I also have Cybereason RansomFree installed and wonder whether this is overkill or a sensible precaution to have these days.

Can’t be sure but I clicked on an email link from a “trusted” source. A Wordpress template provider. KIS intercepted the site and I closed the browser window. Bad URL : https_://www.inkthemes.com Then KIS said it was going to try and disinfect. Then said to reboot and when I closed the KIS window there was a MS Defender window that said it had disinfected the file. Problem is, I can’t find any reports in KIS or MSDefender that confirms the file was either quarantined or removed. For some reason this is in KIS reports: 29.11.2019 08.18.15;Rootkit Scan (canceled);Objects detected: 1, neutralized: 0, not disinfected: 1;1;0;1;Today, 11/29/2019 4:40 AM;56 seconds;Today, 1…

According to Kaspersky: “If your network has a common network name (for example, Home), malefactors will be able to easily and quickly crack your network password by using special hacking programs. To increase your home wireless network’s security, create a unique name for you [sic] network.” Can anyone suggest how that might work? Note that Kaspersky does not in this case advise hiding the SSID, so whatever name is chosen is seen by anyone who cares to look.

Comment from ‘Berny’ to a previous correspondent - “Also , please take care to uninstall any preinstalled Security Suite.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have used Kaspersky for many years, deleting (I thought) old versions before installing the new version. This year I have been plagued by emails telling me that my Kaspersky Installation had/was expiring, even though the CURRENT version still had many weeks before expiry. Turns out that old versions were NOT deleted. I STILL have old versions sitting on my Account and I can find no way to Terminate/Delete them

After a Full Scan using KIS 20.0.14.1085(h) I received the following:- Recommendation "Using Mozilla FireFox? Install Kaspersky Protection extension to increase your level of protection". However.. clicking the link to install the extension, the following 'warning' appeared, "This extension isn’t monitored by Mozilla. Make sure you trust the extension before you install it" My question is:- Do I ignore the Recommendation? or The 'warning' from Mozilla? I'm using FireFox 72.0.2 (32-bit) All aspects of KIS including Safe Money appear to be functioning correctly i.e. green frame.

Hi, I have an IP-Cam in my private network and the video is to be displayed in a Browser (using Firefox, but checked also with others). The issue is, as long as Web-Antivir is ON, the video keeps black. Nothing on the screen. When Web-AV is switched off, the video is displayed as expected. What I have tried already - no success so far: exclusion in Web-AV, used http://<privateIP>/* (yes, it’s http, port 80) disabled all features in Web-AV checked Firewall, private network OK and trusted (otherwise I wouldn’be be able to call the IP) As far as I know the Video is pluged-in via Flash into Browser. KIS is latest version (on Win10 Pro, 1909). BTW: on Win7 it worked …

Hi, I’m sorry for the trouble, but I have a little issue with Safe Money when trying to open a bank website.. It never happened in the past, but now, with various browsers like firefox and chrome, when I try to open RBCRoyalBank website, there’s not prompt for action message, instead the website is opened directly via normal browser, without any prompting by Safe Money anymore.. I tried with other Banks websites, and there’s no problem, there’s always a prompting message asking if I want to open it via Safe Browser.. So, I’m really sorry for the inconvenience, but I would like to know if it’s my issue, or it’s the same for others too with this particular website bank..…

Good morning everyone. On my reliability monitor, I noticed that there was an update and reconfiguration of KIS 20.0.14.1085 (as shown in the figure). I restarted the system and continue in the patch ( i ). Was it just a drivers update or didn't I update to a possible patch ( j ) ?

Good Morning for all Community. Kaspersky now indicates in the PC cleaning menu that CCleaner is rarely run. However I have been using this application for many years and several times a day. I wonder why the KIS indicates this information that is false. I'm using KIS 20.0.14.1085 (i) and CCleaner version 5.64 in the Windows 10 1909 Regards

First of all, hello community. This is my very first post and I am excited to get to know the community. I spend a lot of hours in the last weeks and days to completely understand all mechanics and options of KIS. For me, as a power user the customized protection through targeted configuration to the system circumstances is the highest of feelings. Security Software which have the ability of a very high customization with many options and complex rule management are really rare because the basic user usually does not want to worry about any configuration. At this point I must congratulate the product. It is obviously that the designers' goal was to combine a highly cu…

The website [removed] is showing as dangerous for phishing. We think this is a false positive. We ask that the website be re-checked. We are the webhost and designer for the website. We are available for any questions.
