Kaspersky Internet Security

I notice that my fresh install of K.I.S. v21.1.15.500 patch C does not not update data bases after startup, I’ve set a 5 minute delay but nothing happens. Having to use manual update. Automatic Rootkit scans take place, but use a database that is out of date.

When I go to this Samsung webpage, https://www.samsung.com/au/support/your-service/main to check my products I have a problem signing in. When I select the blue Sign In at the top right of the screen, nothing happens. I have tried using Edge, Firefox and Chrome but none of them work. So I disabled KIS 2021 and I can now sign in without any problems using all 3 browers and if I enable KIS 2021 again, then the Sign In problem comes back. I assume that it is an issue with KIS 2021 and needs to be fixed ASAP. Thanks.

This happens every time the on-screen secure keyboard is (automatically) enabled in any password field under Chrome. Letter keys will not respond anywhere (for example, words, notepad, etc.), while function keys such as <Enter> can still work normally. My current solution is to open a new Chromepage, go to the Google search engine (by clicking on a bookmark, as I can’t enter anything in the address bar), and then type something in the search field. After that, the letter keys will work normally again. Has anyone experienced it? Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

I have spent a considerable amount of time, in order to have software behave exactly the way I want to. This is the very first thing I do with every software/tool that I install/use. So the security software is no exception. As far as KIS goes, I have set a custom level of protection, keeping only the features that I need. I have also explicitely selected that updating is to be done manually only. And yet, KIS chose to ignore my settings. Hi, please help. when I try to update to new version, I’m told to uninstall AVG. I uninstalled AVG as requested, it then says reboot. After I reboot it says remove AVG again, then says it’s been uninstalled then asks me to reboot again. I’m going round in circles, stuck on this same problem. Thanks for any advice.

Safe Money sites always open in protected mode, regardless of selection (Ask, Do not run in protected browser). I’ve tried deleting/adding site, but still will only run in protected browser, with no ask option or do not run. Anyone? Thanks, bd

Hi, I’m trying to get my Kaspersky Internet Security up and running on a new Macbook Air. Everything works perfectly until I try to allow ‘Encrypted web traffic inspection’ and it doesn’t matter how many times I ‘allow’ and enter my password, it just won’t successfully allow it. I have tried restarting mac, deleting and re-downloading kaspersky internet security 2021 and even downloading 2020 version of kaspersky and then updating to 2021 kaspersky. Nothing is working. is it safe to download cracked games? will kaspersky scan the installer while it installs? my friends are inviting me to play a cracked raft and it runs multiplayer by bypassing steam and playing it as ‘spacewar’ but im hesistant to dl a google drive file and installing it to my pc. is it worth the trouble? and will kaspersky enough to detect if there is malware in it? thanks for reading and answering in advance!

kaspersky security cloud makes my PC shut down when i try and scan. The tower doesn't feel warm at all so I doubt its overheating.

All of a sudden when I use safe money my roboform icon in the toolbar doesn’t show up in my chrome browser. If i’m using chrome without the safe money the icon is there, is there some kind of conflict? It was working right a few weeks ago.

There are two issues I’m having with the latest update (21.2.16.590) on windows 8.1 Pro 64bit. First the shortcuts to Application Activity & Network Monitor have been removed (Image below shows the previous version). This is an inconvenience, as in now takes many more clicks to get to it. And this is something i use all the time. Images below are from version 21.1.15.500 on Windows 7 64bit. Hi 2 week ago I installed Internet Seciruty and Kids on my PC. I’m using FireFox so I was neeeded to install KIS certificate to FireFoc certificate store and set correct settings in Network page od KIS settings - for Firefox. At first everything was working fine. Even access to secure sites where I’m using my state provided certificate to access state tax administration web page. When I lookup the restart reason of my computer in “eventvwr.msc” I see the following: avp.exe has initiated the restart of computer on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found (Event ID 1074) I’m quiet unhappy about this cause I had important stuff open and I can’t find settings regarding this issue. If there is no easy solution to this I will stop recommending kaspersky and will not buy it anymore

Hello, I am protected by Kaspersky Internet Security again since a few days. A year I was with Bitdefender and I must say no thanks never again with it. Both of my laptops are showing network attack detected when connected to a particular mobile hotspot. And, hence, my net speed is fluctuating from 1 MB/s to 0 B/s. And, network attack block notification is repeatedly coming. Please Please help me.

Kaspersky was unable to completely remove the "360 Antivirus Software", and warning signals frequently popped up. Follow Kaspersky's instructions. Soon after the removal, the warning signal popped out again, which is very annoying. Can Kaspersky completely solve it?

For the past 2 weeks or so I’m unable to visit protonmail.com. I’m getting the “Your connection is not private” message, with no option to advance manually. Hello, I have a one year subscription for 10 deices and had already activated 5 devices (4 windows 10 and my android mobile). I have installed KIS on my wife’s android mobile (6th device) but I’m unable to activate it. I tried to activate via my kasperky login but even if the device appeared, activation status is off I tried by entering the activation code and I receive the quota activation reached !!
