Dear forum members. I am a visually impaired Kaspersky user. I am using Kaspersky Internet Security version 21.3.10.391(j) with Windows 11 22H2. Kaspersky products have had accessibility problems for screen reader users for years. This situation is fixed with the help of some patches, but it becomes obsolete with some patches. I've had no problems for a long time, however, as of this day I can't navigate the program interface with Tab and Shift Tab keys, I can't hear Kaspersky's system tray settings. The installation of Kaspersky products is not accessible at all anyway. I know that the installation is made accessible with the new generation softw…

Hello, Is Thunderbird supported in anti-spam? I remember using KIS maybe 5 or more years ago, and it was working by automatically tagging messages with [SPAM]. But in the last few years, I never saw this feature working. And at the beginning of this year, I did a fresh install of Windows 10 which I've been using until now, but Anti-Spam still isn't working with Thunderbird. I'm receiving messages via pop3. And I even tested the feature by putting one of my own addresses in "blocked senders" list, but to no avail.

Tried to re-install kaspersky internet security and got “The install failed. (The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. An error occurred while running the scripts in the “kismac.pkg” package.)”.. after removing all I can do, and then tried to cleanly un-install the old and get “failed to start the uninstallation (error code 5505)..

Every time I try and activate Ad Banner - Out of Sight and make my browsing private. I am taken to Safari extensions where I am supposed to see Kaspersky extensions but I do not. I am using iPhone 15 Pro Max with latest software. Help!! As I would rather have Kaspersky do all this stuff. I search in extensions in app store and Kaspersky does not show up.

I believe I have the exact same problem. First of all I use Kaspersky Internet Security on version: 19.0.0.1088(e) and my OS is Windows 10 Pro 64bit on version 1809. The update reaches 100% but it shows me that it failed. When I press "Failed" and open the "Detailed Reports" window it says: "Update databases and application modules" and below that "Not all components were updated", when I press "Details" I see the error: "Error updating component" and below that the word "KLAVA". The same happens to all the failed updates. Why do I have this problem? Is this a bug from Kaspersky? Thank you in advance.

I’m trying to access thepiratebay.org but Kaspersky blocking it. I get the following message: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN. I’ve tried going to settings → Web Anti-virus → Advanced and adding both an exclusing and a the URL as trustworthy, but it didn’t change anything. I really like Kaspersky, but it’s far from user friendly, sadly. I’d prefer an antivirus to help me decide what I want to block, not to decide for me...

I wanna KIS add this feature like macOS's. (On macOS 10.15+, software such as Teamviewer that wants to use these features is licensed by the system.)

I don’t generally add passwords to my home computer, but I had to download a zip file of my medical records from the hospital and its requiring a password to extract and save, I’ve tried all the passwords that I generally use on this PC, but no success. I guess my first question would be, did Kaspersky automatically install a password? I tried my Kaspersky password also. I also checked with the hospital to see if they put a password on it. My second question would be, I see plenty of online assist hits concerning this but they all, (so far), require a download of an encryption program, That alone seems risky. Anyone have any positive experience with those? Just use the t…

In the logs of the anti-intrusion module, there is nothing but service started/stopped, service started/stopped, ... the logs do not have any mention of a prevented intrusion or network attack does this mean nothing was ever blocked or are attacks not logged?

Hi All, I just upgraded to Android 10, used Kaspersky Internet Security also before on 9. I activated gesture navigation. I'm locking some apps with the built-in AppLock from Kaspersky Internet Security. I know, that I must login again, when closing the app or sliding down the navigation bar and that's good like it is. The Problem now: It seems that AppLock sees the going-back gesture (a small icon pops in to show this) as an app opened between. Like this it's nearly impossible to work with gesture navigation, because the controlling process from Android gets blocked by AppLock and until I unlocked it, the process ended. Has anyone a solution for …

Hello, Today i tried to connect my computer to an SQL server on xampp, as usual. But impossible to establish the connection. After a few searches, I found that Kaspersky is blocking the connection with a self defense option. I tried to remove that but I figured out that I can’t edit anything from the settings. Im in admin account on Windows, and Kaspersky was already installed on it when I got it from work. I don’t have the email account, neither as the password. How can I edit theese settings please ?

For years, all my settings in KIS have been the same, and I never change them. Today, I wanted to check some of them and found my KIS unresponsive. I can open settings and browse through the options, but as soon as I click on some of them, it stops responding. For example, settings -> mail antivirus settings -> attachment filter -> configure attachment filter, and then it stops responding. I can only close the window by clicking the "x". When I try to open the window again by double-clicking the KIS icon in the tray, it shows in the taskbar, but no window opens on the desktop. I have to close the app completely using the "exit" option by right-clicking the …

I have encountered a false positive (PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic) with KIS 2020 patch B which is caused by python 3 in Windows Linux Subsystem on Windows 10 1903 x64 It can be reproduced by installing Windows Linux Subsystem (Ubuntu 18.04 in my case) and install Miniconda (python 3.7.3 in my case) And the false positive can be reproduced by installing either one of the two totally different python package from two totally different sources which excludes the possibility malware is planted in both packages 1) conda install -c conda-forge mpi4py or 2) pip install git+https://gitlab.mpcdf.mpg.de/ift/nifty_gridder.git I also have system trace enabled when I try to repr…

Cannot access any single Web page in private browsing window in Firefox. Witnessing “Waiting for ff.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com...” All known “should-be-solutions” like clearing browser cache, turning off script injection, rebooting, etc has been tried. What the heck is going off? Why in the World Kaspersky software could alter Web-page URL I have entered manually? Is it really spy software? What’s going on, guys? Turn this off. I have paid for transparent virus scanning, not for breaching into my Web-experience. Just turn that off. Thank you.

I have been running KIS 2019 with the ‘Do not download new versions automatically and do not notify me when new versions are available' setting under 'New application versions' (Settings - Additional - Update). Today KIS 2019 upgraded to KIS 2020 without any action on my part. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Also in KIS 2020 the ‘New applications versions’ option is no longer visible. Has Kaspersky eliminated the option for users to stop the automatic update to a new version? Best regards.

I use on windows 10 KIS 2019: I have now 4 restore points. One restore point growed to 10Gbyte.The other are 1.5 Gbyte (this means also growed) and to other below 1Gbyte (not yet growed). On another PC with KAV 2017 and KAV 2016 I had also the problem of growing size of restore points. Can someone using KIS 2019 check the size of his restore points in dir c:\system volume information with an application like treesize (running as administrator)? Before my C drive was a harddisk so there was not really a problem but now I have an SSD: this means I need to be carefully with volume. Thanks.

Hello Kaspersky Team, I’m representing the Mobalytics team. We’ve been receiving an increasing number of user complaints regarding Kaspersky antivirus blocking access to our website. To clarify, we’re not engaging in any malicious activity. The only potential trigger we’ve identified is our website loading a large JSON payload containing game information (e.g., https : /mobalytics.gg/poe-2/builds ). Currently, we’re advising users to disable the “Inject script into web traffic” functionality in Kaspersky, which resolves the issue, but this isn’t an ideal long-term solution. We’d like to ask if there’s a way to whitelist our website in Kaspersky, or if you could suggest …

Hi, i have KIS and Malwarebytes installed. I know its not recommaned to install more than one security solution but im not here to discus that. KIS recently displayed a hint that Malwarebytes is incompatible and should be deinstalled. The hint is also displayed in the main window of KIS. There is no option to hide it unlike for example with the installation of password manager. It bothers me. Is there any way to hide this info or to disable the automatic search for incompatible programs in KIS? I couldnt find anything. Best regards.

Hi there! I hope all is well. System: Windows 10 Professional; latest patched to date (2/8/23) Kaspersky details: Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391 (j) Just started getting regular Kaspersky messages up, particularly when I use my standard Windows mail client (that comes with Windows 10)...and they look like this: Event: Access denied User: <MyWin10UserNameHere> User type: Active user Application name: HxOutlook.exe Application path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_16005.14326.21256.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe Component: Web Anti-Virus Result description: Blocked Type: Threat of data loss N…

I have added a URL to the exclusion list for kasperky web anti-virus, under trusted URLS. However kaspersky keeps giving me the download denied for that site. (Yes I need it to download) This is not a direct download that I click on but background scripts. How do I stop kaspersky from doing that, what is the point of trusted URLs if they are scanned and blocked anyway?

Kaspersky Internet Security 19 (19.0.0.294b.c.d) macOS Mojave (10.14.6 ) Kaspersky Security (chrome extension) 20.0.0.3 Where can I see what task/process/daemon initiated outbound network traffic that is routed through 'kav'? BackgroundAs per design of KIS, most of my network traffic is routed through the background kav process. However, this creates a problem in that I cannot see what task/process/daemon on my computer initiated the outbound traffic. ProblemFor the vast majority of traffic, this isn't an issue (most traffic goes to named domains and is obviously due to known programs --internet browsing, streaming, messaging, etc.) However, there is a significant amou…
