Hello, I have this radio that I’ve downloaded the latest firmware to. When scanning for viruses one of the files, D878UV_Setup_1.17.exe is reported to contain WORM.WIN32.WBVB I’ve asked on relevant forums if anyone else finds this malicious object in the downloaded firmware, but it is only me. I’ve also tried to upload the file to Kaspersky VirusDesk (https://virusdesk.kaspersky.com/) and VirusTotal (https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload) Both of these reports the file to be clean, so why does my KIS quarantine it? If you are interested in taking a look at the file in question yourself it can be found here: [Deleted by Moderation] or direct downl…

The following happens after I install an app and need to restart my PC to complete the install. -When I open KIS, I get a dialog box indicating that Kaspersky is loading the application prior to opening with the normal interface. If I hadn't manually opened KIS, would it not be active?

Hi, On all computers I have running Kaspersky I am unable to view videos on at least dagbladet.no This one for example: https://www.dagbladet.no/video/unike-nye-bilder-av-titanic/uhKPQCzo I have tried to allow both data collection and stop the Anti banner in Google Chrome without luck. The only commonality I can see is Kaspersky. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi, I recently posted a question regarding blocked content & “Flood” responded. Unfortunately, I didn’t read his response because I was in a hurry. Now, I have been all over my account & cannot find it. Sorry, I am not that tech savvie but seriously this community forum is very convoluted. I thought I would simply find my question & Floods’ answer under something like ‘My Posts’ so I was very surprised that there isn’t something like that. Anyhow, if Flood reads this & knows what I am talking about could you please either advise me where to find the original thread or re-post your response. Apologies if I have misunderstood the process or anything like tha…

Hi, I have Kaspersky Internet Security 21.1.15.500 and Windows 10. Kaspersky says: “Computer reboot is required” even if I reboot. I have this for a long time, even when I bought a new subscription and reinstalled Kaspersky to a newest version, the problem persists. Thanks in advance, best regards, Ad.

Hello, I recently upgraded from Kaspersky free to Kaspersky Internet Security to find the dark mode not in the same place. I cannot seem to find it and cannot read light mode very well due to an eye condition. Surely there is one on there as it makes ZERO sense to have a free product include more accessibility features then a paid one. May as well ask this too, is there a way to change the text scale?

When a full scan run like the name implies it runs a scan against everything. For macOS mounted drives can be found in the /Volume directory where things such as your own SSD / HDD can be found but also USB drives and mounted drives. The other thing that can be found is your Time Capsule NAS and local snap shots. As I too try to find some reasoning as to why my Full Scans seem to get stuck on arbitrary files I stumbled upon the realization that when I kick off a Full Scan my NAS drive IO spikes as Kaspersky tries to perform a full scan on all of my backups. I’ve unmounted my NAS drive and tried again but is this behavior intentional? I have Kaspersky Internet Security…

Good morning and good Easter. I am running Kaspersky Internet Security 19.0.0.1088 (e) in Windows 10 1809 (OS Build 17763.437) I had to generate a GSI report because of an update issue. When reading the "avz_sysinfo.htm" file generated by GSI, I find that TCP Port 1024 has a NetSpy Trojan note. Am I infected?

I am running Kaspersky Internet Security 19.0.0.1088(f) on Windows 10 Home x64 Build 17134 (which is fully up to date with all updates). KIS has 351 days of license left (I recently renewed). On a daily basis the auto update fails at some point and it is always a failure to update KLAVA (whatever that is!). The problem occurred before I renewed but have waited until after renewal to see if that fixed the problem - it did not. I have tried the following which I have read about online, none of which have solved the problem: I have re-installed KIS (twice) I have turned off gaming and proxy server settings (I use neither) I have renamed the KLAVA folder to KLAVA.BAK Aft…

I have been using KIS for over 10 years. In 2018/19 I purchased a two device licence from Kaspersky Lab for GBP 19.99. Recently (October 22nd) Digital River Ireland invoiced me for Kaspersky Internet Security Quantity 1 at a Total of GBP 39.99. There is a considerable increase in price. Kaspersky Lab themselves appear to be offering the product at a lower price. Other deals are visible on the internet. No indication the number of devices protected. There are a few weeks left before my current licence expires. No prior warning. (Even the DVLA (UK, Driver and Vehicle Licencing Authority) has the courtesy to give advanced warning of expiry.) I think this is very sharp practi…

Hi All, I have recently turned on the Application Guard to shield my Microsoft Edge session when browsing as I got a bitminer virus a while ago despite having Kaspersky which also deleted the whole of the antivirus files!!! (that's how I noticed I had an issue). Back on topic, does this affect the ability of Kaspersky to identify potential threats? Thank you very much!

Hello there, My copy of Kaspersky was broken by upgrading OSX to Catalina. I understand that the only way to fix this is to reinstall, however the log-in for the main Kaspersky website is controlled by a 3rd party called 2CO and it won’t let me log-in or create a new account -- has anyone else experienced this? Would anyone know how I can get around this? I’ve been a customer for several years and not being able to access my own product's site is a giant pain. Thanks.

When I want to test Kaspersky internet security will it ask for my e-mail address or phone number? When I buy a license in an offline shop will it ask for an e-mail address then? I was using AVG but now it wants my name and E-Mail address ones I wanted to renew my license using a license key I bought in offline store. I do not want to do that and would like to test Kaspersky as a possible alternative but will it also need these info in order be tested?

Windows 11 Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.963) Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391(j) I've been cleaning up my PC and found some log files/folders, all of which seem to relate to Kaspersky and the Edge browser. I'm unable to delete them, and despite trying to take ownership and grant myself access rights, I cannot get anywhere. Trying to take ownership fails. The items are in: C:\Program Data\Kaspersky Lab\SafeBrowser\Common\S-1-5-21-1379599756-1977096553-751066661-1001\EdgeChromium\Default\many different sub-folders. (See attached screen shot) I would just like to be able to delete the things. Can anyone help?

Just turned on computer and KIS updated twice. First a normal signature update. Then after about 5 minutes it started another update and then updated tp Patch D. Cannot find info on this patch so was curious if anyone has seen it yet and if so, could point me to any info regarding this patch. Thanks

In the last few months I noticed that no matter the browser I use I receive Kaspersky pop-ups about access to my webcam being blocked, but I don’t even have a plugged webcam. I’m concerned if it is only a bug on Kaspersky part, or there are multiple ( somewhat random, as far as I noticed ) places that are triggering a virus trying to look through where there would be a webcam. Obs: I do have a webcam that I almost never use, but it has been plugged, so the drivers are installed, but this problem has happened since before I had the webcam.

Hi, I get info from beta KIS Android that I should change permission settings in Android by clicking “remove permissions if app is not used”. Unfortunately, when I am trying to do it, anti-theft lockes device. So I turned off anti-theft, but in Android permission settings I can not click switch - it is gray. Any ideas? Second question - how to back to old layout of app?

Hello! My wife wants to do online paying and KIS (v20.0.14.1085) blocked the site. The KIS report says > Dangerous URL blocked;//mpi.borgun.is/mdpaympi/MerchantServer/msgid/6831020; Heuristic Analysis; Opera Internet Browser I put the //mpi.borgun.is/* in Settings > Protection > Web Anti-Virus > Exclusions and allowed URL’s but the KIS still blocked the site and she can’t make a pay. I check the URL on the https://virusdesk.kaspersky.com/ and it says the URL is safe according to the reputation data of Kaspersky VirusDesk. WTF!? If it is safe, why my KIS blocked the payment? What can I do except the shuting down the KIS?
