Hello: I have been having a recent problem with my Windows 10-based Kaspersky Internet Security where the Background Scan will ‘hang up’ at 1% of the scan and then quit: This is a relatively recent problem because I remember the background scan running smoothly and to completion not too long ago. I religiously update my Windows 10 operating system and run frequent manual updates to my KIS database including both Quick Scans and Full Scans with no problem. Anyone having a similar problem? I would also like to know if I can manually run a Background Scan as used to be possible in previous versions of KIS. Thank you.

Hi I have received yesterday a mail (from my own mail account) from a "hacker".Never hapenned before with me. Is it bluff (scam)? Is there any risk for my PC? (I have KARSPERKY INTERNET SECURITY installed and activated). Your software apparently did not has not detected any souspicious activity. Hello A few days ago Kaspersky gave me a few warnings while I was looking up information for a powerpoint presentation. At first this surprised me a little, because I was visting a website about medieval history. The second time I visited the page I recieved no warning, but when I continued reading the article, the warnings came back. So now I’m a little worried something might have infected my laptop. The warning that worries me the most, is the one that says ‘not processed’ does this mean that was Kaspersky was unable to block the attack? A full system scan came up clean. Resolved in this topic 9 month ago: Link the option to permanently disable the login pop up is not available anymore for Kaspersky Internet Security 2022. How do I disable the pop up fully? I only want to do its job, not login or have an account or anything. I have disabled all notification or marketing options in the settings. Thanks for any help :)

Kapersky says I should Leave this on in the bios, how ever I have found that turning it on Kapersky causes high cpu usage. Turning it off I have noticed better over all performance on my Amd 10 7800 cpu, by the way Kapersky is the only program that uses this feature on my pc. So I am wondering is it safe to leave this feature turned off, and what dangers there really are turning this off as I can not find a good answer online to this question?

Anyways, I’m wondering on how to make sure real time protection/scanning is enabled. In another Antivirus setting, there was a section dedicated to it, but I can’t really find anything in Kaspersky’s settings related to real time protection besides the “Automatic checks and Scan from Context Menu” section. KIS version is 21.1.15.500( c ) . It just auto updated the other day to this version and now im having issues with youtube, top right panel with drop down list wont work (one with your profile picture) and the notification bell will not load anything, along with not being able to comment and more videos not loading when i scroll down. Pausing kaspersky fixes everything. Is 21.1.15.500 ( c ) the newest KIS version? if so is there a way i could temporarily run with a previous version and see it if works?

I keep this computer turned on all of the time, all Sleep, Hibernate functions are disabled in Windows, set to Never. Win 10 Home Kav + Windows firewall v1903 / 18362 / 418 I have been using Kav for a few years now and my license will expire soon, I am thinking of switching to KIS. If I go to KIS, do I need to Disable Windows Firewall In Services.msc, or leave in running? Thanks
