	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	Does anyone know if Kaspesky support BypassIO since it wasn't supported in the previous releases?
</p>

<p>
	I am currently on Win 10 and can't check myself since this is a Win 11 only feature. Some vendors like MBAM and other already added support for BypassIO. Some like Appcheck, Wisevector etc. doesn't support it from what I know (but AppCheck is planning to add support in the next releases). So I am curious if Kaspersky support it or at least does Kaspersky is planning to add it in the next releases at some point?
</p>

<p>
	The command is:<br />
	fsutil bypassIo state c:\
</p>

<p>
	Thanks!

	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I recently noticed that the Weak Settings Scan is not always working as intended. I had to change temporary the gpedit settings to allow using PrtScr for some apps:<br />
	<br />
	So I changed "<strong>User Account Control: Switch to the secure desktop when prompting for elevation</strong>" to <strong>disabled</strong>.<br />
	<br />
	Kaspersky noticed the change (and that is awesome):
</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Image-772.png" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="90.23" height="360" style="height:auto;" width="399" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/cXcmjx6/Image-772.png" src="https://forum.kaspersky.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
</p>

<p>
	But fixing the setting <strong>didn't apply it back to enabled</strong> in the group policy.
</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Image-773.png" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="71.20" height="129" style="height:auto;" width="500" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/f88vxSB/Image-773.png" src="https://forum.kaspersky.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
</p>

<p>
	I even used gpupdate /force but still a no-go. But after a new scan it didn't find any problems, despite that fact it was still on disabled in the Group Policy.
</p>

<p>
	Can anyone confirm that? Thanks!
</p>

	Starting oh probably a couple months ago, on my Windows 11 machine running Edge Browser I started periodically getting Connection Reset errors when going to various website.  The issue is very sporadic and typically Edge sucessfully automatically loads the page within a couple seconds of the connection reset error page being displayed.  I loaded Firefox which doesn't have any plugins installed and had the same problem eventually.  So I logged into my Wifi router and looked at the WAN (the Internet connection) stats and the number of errors was like 40 errors to 4 million packets.  I also verified with my roommate that they were not experiencing the problem on their chromebook. So the combination of these two things allows me to rule out an unstable Internet connection and the fact Firefox had the issue ruled out the Edge browser of one of my extensions on Edge causing the problem.
</p>

<p>
	The behavior is very similar to what I've seen in the past with Chrome when the cache needed to be cleared. Sometimes the CSS of a page would not completely load so the formatting was all screwy and this has also started happening ocassionally.  Multiple attempts to clear the Edge cache has made no difference.
</p>

<p>
	So then I start to go through the logical thinking process asking what would be involved in loading web pages that is not specific to a browser or browser plugin?  The anti-virus software.
</p>

<p>
	I am going to temporarily switch to Windows Defender to see if that fixes it which will confirm it's Kasperky causing the issue.
</p>

<p>
	But has anyone run into a similar issue and determined it was Kaspersky anti-virus causing the problem?
</p>

<p>
	Quite a few months ago the option to scan files disappeard from the context menu. I reinstalled Kaspersky and it came back. Then it happened again. I reinstalled Kaspersky and it came back again. I think it happened a few more times. Then it happened again but I didn't feel like reinstalling Kaspersky.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Today I felt like fixing it and reinstalled Kaspersky. However, the option to scan files from the context menu didn't came back. I searched and found that I could try restoring the settings to the defaults. I tried that, restarted Windows and nothing changed.

<p>
	One weird thing that changed after reinstalling is that, if I right-click an empty space in a folder I do get a Kaspersky entry, but it's a folder and no further options appear if I select it.

	Please help as not having this feature is something that makes me want to start using another AV.

	I have had this issue for several years. Whenever Kaspersky is installed on my PC, 1 out of 3 times when I put it to sleep, the monitor would turn off, but the power LED and fans would stay on. I cannot wake my PC up by pressing buttons since it didn't go to sleep cleanly, forcing me to do a hard shutdown . It's as if something interferes the process so it just stops half way.
</p>

<p>
	I can confirm it's caused by Kaspersky since as soon as it's uninstalled the problem disappears. In fact I have been using Windows Defender and Bitdefender, each for a year. Never had this once. Two days ago I decided to install Kaspersky again, and the issue has returned right away.
</p>

<p>
	I'm on Windows 10 and have used the following software over the years: Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Free Cloud and now Kaspersky Free with the new UI. Whenever they are installed, putting to sleep starts to behave like this. I like the software (that's why I keep returning) but being able to put my PC to sleep is important as well. I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks.

	I use Kaspersky Free as my main antivirus software. I also have the free version of Malwarebytes with no real-time scanning activated. Despite this Kaspersky Free keeps telling me to remove Malwarebytes so I went on the Malwarebytes website and added some file paths to the exclusion list in Kaspersky, basically every single one that i was able to exclude. This is the page I used from the Malwarebytes website: <a href="https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038522974-Malwarebytes-for-Windows-v4-antivirus-exclusions-list" rel="external nofollow">https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038522974-Malwarebytes-for-Windows-v4-antivirus-exclusions-list</a>. Even though I added all the exclusions, Kaspersky keeps telling me in the "recommended" tab that Malwarebytes should be uninstalled, whenever i contact technical support on Kaspersky team for answers they keep telling me it is incompatible with Kaspersky. Still, Malwarebytes themselves say that Malwarebytes is designed to run alongside other antivirus software. Is there something that I am doing wrong? I really need help on this.

	after uninstalling your product none of the drivers for firmware or input devices are working. OS is windows 11 23h2
</p>

<p>
	apparently this is a KNOWN ISSUE with no real solution. Why don't you warn users before uninstalling that there will problems?
</p>

<p>
	it seems the only good is to reinstall the product but the only way to do that is to buy a new product key. it's that how this company keeps customers? bricking their computers so that they have no choice but to buy?
</p>

<p>
	restoration to factory settings is not a solution. it's a punishment for using this terrible product
