Hello Community , I need your help please to support our client. Our client wants to acquire: - 12 physical nodes with a virtualization solution to virtualize its infrastructure - 8 physical nodes for VDI with a virtualization solution - Active Directory - Backup appliance He wants an antivirus platform to secure physical and virtual servers. I searched and found that Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security can meet this need. Our client wants antivirus protection for his VMs using a lightweight agent. For this, we considered Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent . I'm looking for answers to these questions: 1- Is only the total number of cores for the virtualization solution that will cover all these nodes required to size this platform? 2. Our client is not going to put all the nodes in the same site; there are nodes that will be deployed on the backup site. So we can only offer the licenses that will be used for the primary site, and there is a possibility of reusing them in the backup site, provided that only one VM is operational at a time? 3. Is there a way to also support Active Directory or Backup server in terms of protection? what is required ? Thanks for your usual support Regards Imad

Резюмирую. Каких либо артефактов от наличия в системе одновременно и докторовской Катаны и касперовского Премиума не замечено. Катана хоть и редко но обновляется. Так что я купил лицензию на Катану-620р на 2 компа а год. Как говорится -будем посмотреть. Пока-тьфу тьфу-всё путём. -

Hallo an alle, ich habe mir das Beta Programm Qsync von Qnap heruntergeladen und die Datei mit Antivirus Programm untersucht (alles in Ok.) nach der Installation Meldet der Aktivitätsmonitor einen Trojaner und löscht auch alles Ereignis: Schädliches Objekt gefunden Programm: QNAP Qsync Client Benutzer: JANUS-PC\janus Benutzertyp: Initiator Komponente: Aktivitätsmonitor Ergebnisbeschreibung: Gefunden Typ: Trojaner Name: PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic Bedrohungsstufe: Hoch Objekttyp: Prozess Objektpfad: C:\Program Files (x86)\QNAP\Qsync Objektname: Qsync.exe Grund: Verhaltensanalyse Erscheinungsdatum der Datenbanken: Gestern, 19.07.2025 19:14:00 MD5: 0614F9982284C070941228ED72848F9E ich glaube nicht das, das Programm einen Trojaner enthält, kann ich das Programm irgendwie von der Untersuchung ausschließen ? Ваш системный администратор ограничил доступ к некоторым областям этого приложения, в том числе к элементу, к которому вы пытаетесь получить доступ.Чтобы узнать больше, свяжитесь со службой технической поддержки вашего IT-отдела. Это у меня вылазит при попытке отсканировать что либо антивирусником Windows, скачал касперский, он ничего не нашел, из интернета тоже много чего пробовал, способы которые там не помогают, а именно не могу открыть secpol.msc, gpedit.msc, решить так и не смог. Так же нет возможности включить включить центр обеспечения безопасности. Может ли это быть что то кроме вируса и сталкивался кто то с подобным?

Конечно возникает, только кто будет переходить по этому адресу в браузере? Если только для теста. Это явно система устанавливает соединение. С настройками по умолчанию сканирований таких соединений быть не должно. -

с настройками по умолчанию тоже возникает адрес сайта shell.windows.com не совпадает с адресом кому выдан сертификат. вообщем это к владельцам сайта shell.windows.com. почему они используют чужой сертификат если нажать "перейти на сайт", то перенаправляет на bing.com/?form=MO0035 -

Here I need more details. What is the scenario and when it is needed. Scenario: When visiting a website (e.g., gmail.com, amazon.com, etc.), users often have multiple accounts saved for that site, such as personal, work, and (future feature - shared logins). Currently, Kaspersky extension does not indicate how many accounts are stored for the active domain until the user clicks and opens the list. Requested Behavior: The extension icon (or the dropdown when clicked) should display a small counter or indicator showing how many saved logins exist for the currently open website. For example: If the user is on amazon.com and has 4 saved logins, the extension should show "4 accounts" either as a badge icon or within the UI when expanded. Why It’s Needed: It helps users quickly assess if the correct logins are stored for that site. Useful for users with many saved credentials across various sites. Reduces the need to open the full list just to check if accounts are stored for that site. Helps troubleshoot when login autofill doesn’t trigger; users can confirm whether credentials are available. <- Example Not sure that I understood the scenatio corretly, could you give more details. Current Issue: When adding a new login, KPM automatically generates an entry name based on the website (e.g., "Amazon" or "Gmail"). However, when the user clicks into the "Name" field to edit it, the generated name disappears or is replaced with a blank field or placeholder. Expected Behavior: The auto-generated name should remain visible in the "Name" field even when the user clicks or interacts with it, unless they intentionally delete or change it. Scenario: User visits facebook.com and saves a new login. Kaspersky generates the entry name as “Facebook”. When the user opens the entry to edit details, they click into the "Name" field. At this point, the name disappears, and the field appears empty, creating confusion. The user now has to retype the name or remember what it was, when he could've added the continuous need (e.g., Facebook | Personal) Why It’s Important: Prevents accidental overwriting or loss of the original name. Ensures clarity, especially when managing many similar logins. Helps users avoid confusion when reviewing or organizing their entries. User time saver. Interesting, could you enable logs in the app and send them to our support in order to find the cause Unfortunately, I am not using KPM anymore. Thank you in advance! -

Наверное, включили в настройках сети "всегда проверять защищенные соединения"? Тут никакой ошибки со стороны антивируса нет, SSL сертификат не соответствует доменному имени. -

Hallo @Schulte, sorry für die immer wieder aufkommenden und sich teils wiederholenden Fragen. Ich bin nun auch immer wieder hin- und hergerissen, ob die Neuinstallation unterm Admin-Konto vielleicht doch sinnvoll wäre, da ich ja auch kürzlich von Windows 11 23h2 auf 24h2 geupdatet habe und seitdem einige Berichte wieder angezeigt werden unterm Standard-User. Allerdings gibt es mittlerweile wie zuvor erwähnt auch schon wieder einzelne Module, wo die Einträge seit dem Windows-Update nicht mehr gezeigt werden. Somit hatte das Update dann wohl doch keine dauerhafte positive Auswirkung darauf. Jedoch möchte ich eigentlich auch eine Neuinstallation nur wegen der Berichtsanzeige vermeiden , wenn das nächste Autoupdate problemlos funktionieren sollte, denn wer weiß, ob ich bei einer Neuinstallation danach nicht andere Probleme kommen oder das Autoupdate dann wieder nicht funktioniert. Es ist nämlich so, dass Kaspersky ansonsten problemlos läuft. Mir geht es bei dem Ganzen auch nicht darum, dass ich die Berichte speichern oder aufheben möchte, ich möchte nur ab und an mal reinsehen, ob alles "passt". Was wäre daher deine klare Empfehlung? - Neuinstallation nur machen, wenn es beim nächsten Autoupdate von Kaspersky Probleme. Bei funktionierendem Update einfach die Berichte komplett ignorieren und auf den Status von Kaspersky verlassen. oder - AutoUpdate-Ergebnis zwar abwarten, aber auch, wenn es funktionieren sollte, nochmal neu installieren mit Löschen der Berichte zuvor. Vielleicht hat eine Neuinstallation von Kaspersky auf Basis von Windows 11 24h2 eine Auswirkung. Danke im Voraus für deine Antwort.

KAV, KIS, KTS & KSC - V21.3* have not *officially* reached EOL *yet*, but Kaspersky no longer does any development work/bugfixes for 21.3, nor can any of those products be purchased as an alternative to the new range & so on & so forth. Thanks Flood and Flood's wife I didn't in fact realise that Kaspersky AntiVirus had been decommissioned - which is a bit frustrating because the last subscription never told me to upgrade. But just been going through the forum for antivirus only to see the move to Standard. Issues is - I use another Firewall - so I am hoping it can be disabled in Standard, else I am going to have to move to another software that only offers AntiVirus (which would be sad since most of them have been pretty system problematic). Will see how things go with the upgrade to Standard - thank you. -

Kaspersky have released a proper solution, *upgrade* to the newly released Kaspersky software: Standard, Plus OR Premium. 21.3* is OLD -> there is NO fix in version 21.3* -> Kaspersky stopped doing development work & fixes for the old version when the new version was released. 21.3* is the *old* version for: KAV, KIS, KTS & KSC. || In *your* case IF *you* have KAV or KIS upgrade to Kaspersky Standard, available here: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product. To check a version, on Windows Taskbar, *Hidden icons*, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About OR open the Kaspersky GUI, select the Headset 🎧lower-left-hand-side of screen, the Kaspersky application version is shown on the 4th line of information in the Customer Service screen. Ordinarily people are encouraged to open their own topics, however, for this particular issue it's not required - there's a commonality across all 21.3* Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋 -

To andrew75: I get where you're coming from. I do appreciate the workaround being share. But my concern is that this really shouldn't be something we have to keep fixing ourselves. Ideally, there would either be a proper solution or at least some communication on why this keeps happening. Personally, I've run into this issue four times now, including again just last week. Each time, it’s been resolved with the same workaround, but it’s becoming frustrating. Honestly, once my subscription ends, I’m strongly considering switching to a different antivirus as this recurring problem has worn me down a bit. To harlan4096: Just to clarify, how are you seeing version 21.22 available for Kaspersky Anti-Virus? From what I can tell, the version I have is 21.3.10.391 and that is the latest. I can't seem to find an option in the app itself to manually check for updates. I’d really like to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling if I can confirm that auto-updates aren’t the issue here. Is there a particular source or location where 21.22 is being stated as the update for the AntiVirus? Though - I have just realised this forum is for Total Security - so maybe I should make another topic in Kaspersky Anti-Virus (checking if there isn't something there already) -
