Hi all,

Just tried to upgrade to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 so I uninstalled my old Kaspersky 7, restarted and tried to install.
The installation hung and I was forced to cancel.
The installer then rolled back some partially installed files.
Restarted again and tried this once or twice more, once in safe mode but I got a "The system administrator has set policies that prevent this installation" error dialog

I restarted again and when I clicked setup a newer MSI file was available to download so I downloaded that.

Still can't install, same error message: "The system administrator has set policies that prevent this installation" error dialog

Downloaded the uninstaller, it couldn't find any KAV

Any ideas? I have no protection at the moment so I'm quite concerned.

Regards,

Colm
