Works simple and good. Just the way I want it to work

Here is somethings that I have seen when I receive an sms message.

The message will come in and I will tell Kaspersky to allow the message. If the peson sending the message is in my
address book it lists it as ""Lastname, Firstname" <xxx-xxx-xxxx>".

When they send me a message after that I prompted to allow or block it everytime. The only way I have found to get around this is
to edit the entry in the Anti-Spam allow list and and change it to just the senders phone number. After I do that it doesn't
prompt me to allow or block them.

Hi, Bremen,
could you provide us with an example of phone numbers? What is the difference between the phone-number from your contacts and the number that was added to the White List?

Hey Viktor,

I have an entry in my phones contact list for John Doe with a mobile number 555-555-1212. My contact list displays names last name, first name. When John Doe sends a message I get the Kaspersky New SMS widows with the From entry "Doe, John" <5555551212>. After I add it to the White List the message is delivered to my SMS Inbox.

If I were to look at the Anti-Spam White List I see an entry for "Doe, John" <5555551212> *Any words*. If that phone sends me another message I am again prompted by the Kaspersky New SMS window to white list or black list "Doe, John" <5555551212>.

If I edit the White List entry for "Doe, John" <5555551212> and change the Enter phone dialog box to 5555551212 and click done. The next time I receive a message is gets delivered directly to the SMS Inbox.

I have attached a screen shot of the White List entry that is automatically created from the Kaspersky New SMS dialog.

Thank you for details!

That's certainly a bug. This issue will be fixed in future releases.
Now, to avoid this you can turn anti-spam setting "Allow Contacts" on.

I find that, after enabling the Anti-Spam module in kms8 beta; it's caused me a lot of trouble. I've enabled the 'Blacklist', and after every phone call; it would ask me whether to add the number to a list. It would ask me, eventhough the same number was added to a list, by that way, many times!
Just imagine you have 'John' in your whitelist; and now imagine everytime John phones you, kms8 beta will ask you whether to add his number to a list. That is, EVERYTIME, he calls; just for enabling the Blacklist module. Its not just John, but everybody that calls. That's just...very bothersome.
Att Tilt with shipped Rom.

I also noticed that I had the "Allow Contacts" on and it was still asking me to White List or Black List my contacts.
I just reloaded the phone and I will be re-installing KMS8 tonight so I will double check that setting.

Hi,

I am presently beta testing Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0 Beta on my HTC Touch HD. The Antivirus module works great. So far I am also having the issue of the Anti-Spam module continuously asking me to add contact to me white or black list even after adding the same contacts previously.

The other issue I am having is that since installing the Beta version, my incoming calls take longer than usual to ring and when they start to ring, I only get 1 to 2 calls before the phone reports it as a missed call.

I hope this also will be fixed in the version to come out at the end of February.

That's strange. Are you sure it is KMS? It also could be your mobile provider
