I haven't seen an application update for KAV for Workstation or Server in a a very long time.

It is disheartening that the corporate product is still sitting at version 6.0 while the consumer product is at version 8.

Am I missing something, or does it appear that all development of the corporate products have stopped?

Here's a recent thread that specifically addresses your concerns - http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=86219

The product is essentially being rebuilt, which appears to be taking a while. You're still getting definition updates, and the product works, so it's hardly abandoned.

I haven't seen some specific fixes show up for problems that were known when the latest version of Server was released.
Specifically, I'm looking at an issue in Enterprise Edition that has been resolved to allow RIS servers to work.

Fixed in an old revision of EE, still not fixed in a later version of Server. What assurance do I have that v.8 will address this (and other) issues at all?

That, I can't answer. When you say that they were "resolved", do you mean that there's a workaround, or that there was a patch or hotfix released to address it?

Hi,

I'm not sure if you have noticed, but now V8 of WKS/FS/SOS and Adminkit are currently in beta testing.

They skipped a whole version number.... This one is going to be on par (in some cases better) than the technology in the V8 home user products.

Baz is right. Also, EE will be receiving CF6 within the next three weeks to address some issues.
