Hello, the question is about the virus that arrives with pendrives. In big installation, with a lot of users, it is not possible to prevent that all the USB pendrives are clean, but is it possible to prevent that the virus arrives to the machine?.

Any idea?. We tried using an empty folder and file autorun.inf in hard drives, but the virus are able to delete it.

thank you.

You can use Flash Desinfector to protect your pendrives:

Yes, I know, thank you, but that I want to protect is the computers, because is a place where different people can use ther pendrives, and it is not possible to tell all to protect the pendrive.

The key is to protect the computerfrom the infected pendrives.

Thank you.

Recomendation: Deactivate the automatic reproduction in the computers. With Kaspersky installed, and updated.

1. Start > Run, type in 'gpedit.msc' without the quotes, this will show you the Group Policy Editor.
2. Goto 'Computer Configuration' > 'Administrative Templates' > 'System' and select 'Turn Off Autoplay'
3. When the properties for the policy pops up, check 'Enable' and select 'All Drives' and hit OK.
