HI.
I've pushed out Network agent to the workstations which are now running. Yet nothing happens when i try to push out the kav6 to the workstations. I scheduled the task to act immediately but still no joy.
Cheers

By looking at the events it reports that the current operation (kav6 for windows filer server) failed as the current os is not supported.
So checking the remote install package properties the application name is kav6 for win file servers which lives in %systemroot%/programfiles/kaspersky for windows file servers/kav6.kpd
Is this correct?

you should use KAV for workstation.

Makes sense...do you have to download this separately or is it included in the file...i thought it might of been in the &systemroot%\program files\kaspersky lab\kaspersky admin kit\share\pakages\kavfs6 6.0.3.837\exec but this came up with same error.

It should come with your purchased set. Suppose you are having bussiness product.
From your installation disc, you should able to find KAV for windows workstation.

What do you see in the task history? Screenshot or exported task history would be useful.

No worries it's going great guns now.
I made the mistake of making a Kaspersky lab app package instead of installation package for specified executable file in the remote install wizard. So added the .exe and pushed it out to the workstations and it all seems good now...just running engine after updates although there seems to be a few false 'riskware - invader' detections. Thanks for the feedback though and please let me know if I've still ballsed it up or any other tips with this product

Cheers
