Hello,

I'm trying to connect to the Admin Kit and am unable to do so. I can open it ok, but it just locks up when I try and do anything. If I add a different snapin it works fine. I've cleared the files from application data\Microsoft\mmc, no luck with that. I've checked the listening ports on 13000 and it connects ok when I telnet from one of the clients. I installed the Admin Console on another system as my first failed and now the second one has done the same. Any ideas?

The program hasn't crashed, I was trying to use Kaspersky via VNC and it turns out the AV window and console don't respond with VNC.

This basically says disable self defence on the Kaspersky Admin Kit. Though I was hoping to avoid this as it surely reduces protection!
