I have a new server running Windows Server 2008 Standard x64. I have existing unused seats for Business Space Security that I currently use on my workstations and Server 2003 servers. After learning the hard way that I had to use the Enterprise Edition with Server 2008, I installed EE. I did not put in a license key during installation, becuase all I have is a license code on the DVD sleeve. How can I generate a key for Enterprise Edition using my Business Space license code (I read on another forum topic that the BS license is valid to use with EE).

Also, Kaspersky is installed but doesn't seem to be running (system tray icon is grayed out). I am assuming this is because it is not licensed?

Thanks!

Well, I will go ahead and answer my own question in case anybody else has this same problem.

1. Go to http://activation.kaspersky.com
2. Enter your license code and name info
3. Download your key and insert it via the Licensing module in the Admin Console.

After doing this and restarting the system, all of the services started up.
