well we i bough a license for my workstation and worked perfectly with it
but the problem that i installed the same product on my pc and i couldnt get udpated

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations 6.0.3.837

this is a pic shows how the error happenes

In settings -> service -> disable the self-defense.

After that, remove all the files which are in : C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP6\Bases

Just after that run an update and check if you still have the issue.

Don't forget to re-enable the self-defense after that

I followed the intructions herein but this doesn't work for me. I have the same Kaspersky 6.0.3.837 version with hotfix c.d.e.f.i and I am using Windows XP with Service Pack 2.

I still receive the ff. errors:

FILES NECESSARY TO PERFORM ROLLBACK OPERATION ARE ABSENT

File or folder not found = http://dnl-01.geo.kaspersky.com/bases/av/a...86/base036c.avc
Error updating components = Anti-virus databases

- and -

Bases are incompatible with application, bases will be rolled back = Anti-virus databases
File necessary to perform rollback operation are absent
Task completed = Files necessary to perform rollback operation are absent

Please help.

Correct your system date, it is 31/10/2008 !!!

What? I have a correct date in my system. I am not the first poster who have posted this problem last 31/10/2008. I am experiencing this problem just recently after my computer was formatted and I needed to re-install all software including Kaspersky.
