Ever since Kaspersky Workstation 6 and Netagent was deployed on our workstations, we're having errors from launching things from the Login script.

An example, we use the login script to install the Zenworks Asset Management client on our workstations, the command we use: "@\\server-name\data\software\ZENASS~1\setup -s -SMS" was working prior to KAS, though it still works if ran through start -> "Run" while kaspersky is running.

But now from the login script we get this error .

After adding "\\server-name\data\software\ZENASS~1\setup.exe" as a trusted app and exclusion mask "\\server-name\data\software\ZENASS~1\" as an object. We get a slightly different error .

Anyone have this problem? can we Exclude the login script?

Hello,

I can't see an option to exclude login script. Try to enable compatibility mode (Settings > Service) and reboot the computer to see if it helps.
If it does not, try to remove Kaspersky NDIS Filter.
MrRAlan
Is your exclusion mask including all subfolders and files also?

Thanks for your suggestions guys. But we still have not resolved it.

Tybilly,
I tried turning on compatibility mode, then tried removing NDIS filter and even tried both, but no luck.

MrRAlan,
Yes I included subfolders when setting up the Exclusion Masks. What do you mean "and files"? I also tried launching via a mapped drive instead of UNC path and also reflecting this in an exclusion mask.

I've also tried without joy:
-selecting 'scan programs by content'
-turning security level down to low on all areas
-disabled iChecker and iSwift technology

I've noticed the -SMS parameter in the setup.exe command, this is the recommended usage from the Zen Asset Management installation guide, which states "-SMS = Maintain the network connection during installation".
Could this be an issue? although this is not the only application we are having issues with.

Hmmmmm, I don't know what I meant by "all files". I probably meant "all tasks" in the exclusion and not just "file anti-virus".
