Full Version: Using the updating agent for pushing out the agent

Hi!

I run a centralized AdminKit server with many small offices and roaming laptop users.
Once the Network Agent is installed on the client everything is just fine.
But it's when new workstations are being installed somewhere without my knowledge I get a problem.

Most of the times the new users download a prepacked installationkit of the Network Agent and I'm all happy.
But sometimes I don't detect the unprotected device until it's too late...

If it would be possible to have an updating agent sniffing the network for new workstations it would be of great help.
Doing a push installation of the Network Agent without the need of a local AdminKit server wouldn't be bad either...

I'm not running the workstations within the same AD.

Thanks
seslmis
Normally in Network:Domains in KAK will detect the network that your Net Agents connected and others as well.
Try to scan through clients pc there, you may find something.
Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply!
I'll lab a bit with the functions to see if I can find anything.
I don't have VPNs to the offices though so pure routing won't work.

I'll se what I find, thanks.
