Hi all,

Quick question - How can i remove AVG 8.0 Free edition from user's PCs via the admin kit? The admin kit product deinstallation task only lists grisoft avg 7.5?

Thanks.
Caos
If avg 8.0 is not in the list, you have to uninstall manually in every pc.
Try before with the option 7.5 and test it.

Hello,

Download Link:

To resolve the situation you should do the following:
• Interrupt the current installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 2009
• download the archive avg8.zip
• unpack all files from the archive avg8.zip into one folder
• run the file KLeaner.exe
• wait until the utility finishes its work
• restart your PC
• rerun installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 2009

update admin kit to latest version 6.0.1710. this version have included avg8 removal.

Thanks for the replies, I noticed that once AVG 8.0 had been detected by a report, it was present in the uninstall external applications. Before detection by a report, this was not possible.
